This ‘Despacito’ Mix By James Corden Takes The Song Of The Summer To Recap The Craziness Of These Last Three Hot Months

“I hope next summer we can take it slowly… like De-spa-cito.”

Jame’s Corden recently took “Despacito,” which is poised to be the biggest summer song of all time, and used it to rap a recap of the summer news cycle. It covered everything from all the drama in the White House and politics, Trump’s blunders and even the game of chicken the president is playing with North Korea. On a lighter note, he brought up the Bachelorette’s controversial choice this season, Beyonce’s twins, rumors that Rihanna might be having babies of her own, and then threw in everyone’s summer obsessions: rompers for men (romphims), fidget spinners and the dancing hotdog from Snapchat.

There really are some clever lyrics in the song and Corden follows the beat to a T. It’s been a crazy 2017, but remember how just yesterday it was 2016 and we were all like “well, it can’t get any worse.” Um, we definitely spoke too soon.

Jason Momoa Tells Gael Garcia Bernal How He Fell In Love With Wife Lisa Bonet When He Was Only Eight

Actor, producer, director Gael Garcia Bernal, and caveman turned movie star, Jason Momoa were on James Corden this week and the conversation quickly turned to how Momoa’s appearance made everyone feel “a little less manly.” It’s probably something Momoa gets fairly often. Standing at 6’4” and 215 lbs, his stature would intimidate anyone. While his smoldering eyes, rugged beard and wild mane contribute to what Corden and Bernal were feeling, its probably the fact that Momoa is constantly cast as a marauding maniac, like Khal Drogo in “Game of Thrones,” that make it hard for them to make eye contact with him.

But hey, according to Corden, Garcia hasn’t aged in 20 years, so if you think about it, that’s a stronger super power than hyper-manliness anyway. Right, guys? No? Just me? Okay.

I wouldn’t mess with this dude no way, no how.

With Momoa starring as Aquaman in the upcoming “Justice League” Film, it’s no surprise that he’s looking extra jacked. Aquaman has always been the butt of the joke, but no one will be clowning on Momoa. Not to his face anyway.

But then again, look how cute Garcia Bernal is.

He may not get you with his muscles, but he’ll melt your heart with that smile.

Corden showed how ageless Garcia Bernal is with a before and after photo that was about 20 years apart.

Add Garcia to the list of ageless Latinos like J.Lo and Mario Lopez, both of whom have just gotten better with age.

Check out the rest of the interview below, where Momoa recounts falling in love with his wife Lisa Bonet and Garcia Bernal and Corden just stare at him in awe.

It feels a little bit like a stalker-y story, but I think it’s meant to be sweet. You be the judge.

Momoa stars as Aquaman in DC’s “Justice League” out this week and Garcia costars as the voice of Héctor in Disney/Pixar’s “Coco,” releasing next week. Check out our review of “Coco,” here.

These Moviegoers Were In For A Real Treat When The Actors From ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Showed Up To Their Screening

The Late Late Show with James Corden/ YouTube

Last week, James Corden had a special treat (if you can call spoiling a movie a treat) for moviegoers attending a special advanced screening of the film “Thor: Ragnarok.” The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Hiddleston, reprising their roles as Thor, Hulk, and Loki, respectively. Newcomers to the franchise include the always stylish Jeff Goldblum, Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, who plays supervillain Hela, and one of the only Afro-Latinas in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie.

All five superstars gathered for a special presentation of the film in what Corden called “4D.”

While fans watched the movie on the big screen, Corden pulled a lever and shut down the projector.

Then, Corden explained his plan to present the film in “4D.”

There were plenty of groans and odd looks, until Thor himself came out with his hammer.

Apparently 4D is just a live action, low budget version of the film…

Right behind Thor was The Grandmaster, scooting in with his stylish robes.

Man, Jeff Goldblum is fly.

The Grandmaster forced Thor to fight with his best friend the Hulk, which brought their battle out into the audience.

Ruffalo: best Halloween costume.

Before long, they were friends again and teamed up with Loki and Valkyrie to fight for good.

This battle looks a little unfair. ?

And after a long battle with Hela, the fate of the universe was decided.

Wait, did Hulk just slam a puppy on the floor? That’s cold, even for a green radioactive monster.

The cast took a well deserved bow for playing along with Corden’s overbearing genius.
