Simone Biles Scored A Perfect DWTS Score To Demi Lovato’s ‘Skyscraper’ But Was Still Voted Off

She absolutely nailed her dance.

On a recent episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” Simone Biles gave Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” the rumba treatment and nailed it. Her dance, with partner Sasha Farber, was flawless. The judges gave the couple a perfect score (their second of the night) but it was up to the audience to vote on who got to stay and who went home. After the votes were tallied and everything was said and done, Biles, along with her perfect scores, were sent packing, to the judges astonishment. The performance was beautiful and Biles proved that she was the competitor to beat as she and Farber slayed the dance floor.

Demi Lovato was hyping Biles’ performance on Twitter before the show.

And Biles responded like all the other fangirls that want to be in Lovato’s personal Twitter Rolodex.

Such promise just hours before the show.

The couple showed off several impressive dips.

That is three moving dips back to back. Don’t try it at home.

And they even performed a masterful twirl.

Beautiful.

But when the votes were tallied, this was how the judges reacted:

There has been some speculation from fans that Biles was voted off in reaction to the previous episode, when asked why she wasn’t smiling. Biles told the judges, “smiling doesn’t win gold medals.” It’s now a T-shirt, fyi.

Fans are shook (and pissed) that America let Biles down.

It’ll be okay, Snooki.

Some even started #JusticeForSimone, because Twitter.

But Biles kept her head up and handled her shocking defeat with grace.

Lovato hasn’t spoken or tweeted about Biles’ elimination.

Exes Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato Are Playing Soulmates in Netflix’s Animated Movie Charming and Talk About Awkward

Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato don’t let a little thing like emotional baggage get in the way of their careers. The famous former couple proved that exes can actually be friends when they worked together on the new Netflix animated movie, “Charming”, that premiered on Friday.

Not only did Lovato and Valderrama co-star in the children’s movie together, but they played lovers. And not just lovers, but soulmates.

It looks like Lovato and Valderrama truly decided to remain friendly and supportive of each other after their breakup in 2016. Which in itself is a rarity!

In “Charming”, Valderrama voices a spoiled Prince who is “cursed” to have every woman fall in love-at-first sight with him until his 21st birthday.

When the project was announced in 2015, Valderrama was extremely excited about the opportunity to represent greater diversity in a children’s movie. “We’ve all been waiting so long to see a Latin princess represented in an animated fairy tale,” he told Deadline. “I’m grateful to the enlightened producer John Williams for anointing me as the first Latin prince.”

Lovato plays a Lenore, a savvy street urchin who is also cursed to never find love. Together, the unlikely duo are tasked with going on a quest to break Charming’s curse so he can save the kingdom.

When discussing their previous relationship in the past, Lovato and Valderrama have been nothing but gracious.

In fact, Demi Lovato recently told Harper’s Bazaar that she’s happy for Valderrama and his new fiancée, Amanda Pacheco. “I’m really happy for him and I wish him nothing but the best, but we’re not in each other’s lives, haven’t spoken in a long time,” she admitted.

She continued: “But I think I needed that because I needed to learn to be okay on my own. When you get into a relationship with somebody at that young of an age and then you spend six years with somebody, you don’t really get to learn about yourself.”

When Lovato has talked about the reasons behind their split before, she’s always maintained that it had “nothing to do with falling out of love”.

“The sparks never faded, but there are issues that I haven’t conquered yet that I know I won’t conquer if I’m relying on somebody else to take care of the loneliness,” said Lovato in her 2017 documentary, “Simply Complicated”.

But Lovato and Valderrama aren’t the only reason to queue up this flick. The movie also stars Ashley Tisdale as Cinderella, Avril Lavigne as Snow White, and Chinese popstar phenomenon G.E.M. as Sleeping Beauty.

Months have passed with quite a few additional ups and downs but Demi Lovato hasn’t forgotten about her late friend and former Glee costar, Naya Rivera. Five months after Rivera’s body was found following a disappearance during a boating trip with her son, Lovato paid a tribute to the actress on Instagram.

In a post shared to her Instagram story on Sunday, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer, remembered Rivera in a video.

Lovato shared a video of the gleaming sun while she was on a hike and captioned the video “Miss You [Naya Rivera].” In a reference to a song that Lovato sang with Rivera, the singer played a clip of The Beatles’ “Here Comes the Sun” in the background.

Lovato and Rivera’s characters (Dani and Santana Lopez) fell in love after singing “Here Comes the Sun” during a shift at a diner in the fifth season of the musical drama series.

Rivera’s body was found in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California on July 13.

Her body was found five days after she disappeared during a boat excursion with her 5-year-old son Josey. Soon after Rivera was found, Lovato reflected on her costar writing that she would “forever cherish” her role as Rivera’s girlfriend on the series.

“RIP Naya Rivera. I’ll forever cherish the opportunity to play your girlfriend on Glee,” Lovato wrote on Instagram at the time. “The character you played was groundbreaking for tons of closeted queer girls (like me at the time) and open queer girls, and your ambition and accomplishments were inspiring to Latina women all over the world.”

“My heart goes out to your loved ones at this time.. ❤️🕊,” she wrote at the end of her caption.
