The highly-anticipated fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was expected to be a classic Mexican boxing war, with both fighters trading shots to see who deserved bragging rights. Instead, it turned out to be a one-sided affair that showed Chavez Jr.’s size and reach advantage was no match for Alvarez, who controlled the fight from beginning to end.

Chavez Jr. probably felt relieved it was over.
During the post-fight interview, Canelo revealed who his next opponent would be. “Golovkin, you are next my friend,” said Canelo. Moments later, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, made his way to the ring.
