Trump’s Children Were Called Anchor Babies By George Lopez And A Lot Of People Got Very Upset

The term “anchor baby” is an offensive term that President Donald Trump used before his political career. The phrase refers to the children of undocumented people U.S. By law, that makes them U.S. citizens. The term, however, is Trump’s way of demonizing the offspring of immigrants. Calling anyone an anchor baby is a moot point because everyone in the United States comes from immigrants except Native Americans, and some Mexicans whose ancestors were born on U.S. soil when the land still belonged to Mexico. But all of this is to say, the majority of U.S. citizens come from immigrants. Never the less, the term was brought up recently due to the impending ICE raids.

After Trump threatened undocumented people in the U.S. with ICE raids last week, comedian George Lopez told them to detain Trump’s “anchor” babies.

“Uh, @icegov ‘if your listening’ you can find these immigrants at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave – Signed Enrique Empanada the third ???????? #vivalaraza #45melapela.”

The post included mariachi music and the Trump family with photoshopped sombreros.

Lopez’s use of “anchor baby” is using Trump’s words against him by suggesting that his ex-wife and current wife, both immigrants, had children in the U.S. making them citizens, which is a birthright.

Lopez is a loud opponent of Trump and his administration since before the election. It began after the then-candidate referred to Mexicans as “rapists” and “criminals.”

During his 2017 comedy special, Lopez said if he ever ran into Trump, he would sexually assault him since he said that is what Mexicans do. Lopez also pretended to urinate on Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a plastic water bottle.

So did people like the joke? Hmmm…yes and no.

The joke can be taken different ways depending how you look at it. For some people, it is great to see these words weaponized against the man who is harming the community.

He’s only saying what Trump has been saying for years.

Trump and Lopez have the same logic, which makes the joke very funny. They think that using insults is the way to debate these kinds of issues. Clearly, the Instagram post is catching people’s attention.

Did he go too far?

People didn’t like that he used a picture of the youngest Trump. However, to be fair, Trump has no issue with infants being taken from parents at the southern border and left in detention centers. Those in the detention centers have ended up getting pretty sick lately.

Lopez gained new fans from the joke.

They say some humor is supposed to be offensive. Not to mention that political comedy can get really offensive since people don’t like being challenged.

Oh, come on now. Why are you crying?

Did you think the joke was funny or do you think that Lopez went a step too far.

Five Migrant Girls Were Found Left Alone And Abandoned In The Texas Heat

This past March, according to El Pais, migrants crossed the Rio Grande at an all-time high not seen in the past 15 years. US government reports underlined that a total of 171,000 people arrived at the southern border of the United States in March. Eleven percent were minors who made the journey by themselves.

Reports say that this vulnerable group will continue to grow in size with recent shifts in the Biden administration child immigration policies. Five migrants girls recently found by the river recently became part of this group.

An onion farmer in Quemado recently reported that he found five migrant girls on his land.

The girls were each under the age of seven, the youngest was too small to even walk. Three of the girls are thought to be from Honduras, the other two are believed to have come from Guatemala. Jimmy Hobbs, the farmer who found the girls, said that he called the Border Patrol gave the children aid by giving them water and food and putting them in the shade.

“I don’t think they would have made it if I hadn’t found them,” Hobbs told US Rep. Tony Gonzalez (R-Texas) in a New York Post. “Because it got up to 103 yesterday.”

“My thoughts are that it needs to stop right now. There are going to be thousands. This is just five miles of the Rio Grande,” Hobbs’ wife added in their conversation with Gonzalez. “That’s a huge border. This is happening all up and down it. It can’t go on. It’s gonna be too hot. There’ll be a lot of deaths, a lot of suffering.”

“It is heartbreaking to find such small children fending for themselves in the middle of nowhere,” Chief Border Patrol Agent Austin Skero II explained of the situation in an interview with ABC 7 Eyewitness News. “Unfortunately this happens far too often now. If not for our community and law enforcement partners, these little girls could have faced the more than 100-degree temperatures with no help.”

According to reports, the Customs and Border Protection stated that the five girls will be processed and placed in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Federal Investigators Executed A Search Warrant On Rudy Giuliani’s N.Y.C. Home And This Is Just The Beginning

Months of investigations on Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani officially came to a head Wednesday morning.

The former New York City mayor’s dealings with Ukraine officials in 2019 have been under scrutiny for months by authorities who have been investigating allegations Giuliani lobbied for powerful Ukrainian interests. The investigations have also looked into claims that Giuliani also solicited the Ukrainian government for damaging information on President Joe Biden when he was running against Trump in the 2020 election.

There is also the matter of allegations that Giuliani attempted to find information on Biden’s son Hunter, who was part of the board of an energy company in Ukraine.

Federal investigators executed a search warrant on Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan home on Wednesday morning.

The search was part of a criminal investigation into Giuliani‘s activities with Ukraine. According to The New York Times, “Prosecutors obtained the search warrants as part of an investigation into whether Mr. Giuliani broke lobbying laws as President Trump’s personal lawyer.”

Federal agents seized cellphones and other electronic devices as part of the investigation. The search warrant took place around 6 a.m. at Mr. Giuliani’s apartment on Madison Avenue and his Park Avenue office in Manhattan.

The execution of a search warrant against the former president’s lawyer is particularly shocking.

The warrant comes as a major development in the investigation that has been ongoing for some time and examines the former- mayor’s conduct during Mr. Trump’s first impeachment trial.

“It was also a remarkable moment in Mr. Giuliani’s long arc as a public figure,” noted New York Times. “As mayor, Mr. Giuliani won national recognition for steering New York through the dark days after the Sept. 11 attacks, and earlier in his career, he led the same U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan that is investigating him now, earning a reputation as a hard-charging prosecutor who took on organized crime and corrupt politicians.”
