Cardi B’s Drops “Press” On The Same Day As Court Appearance

Is there any day we’re not talking about Cardi B? How can we not? Whether she’s dropping mad money on her baby Kulture, she’s throwing down blows with Nicki Minaj, or getting real about plastic surgery, Cardi gives us all the steam we need to fire up and discuss.

Though in her new track, the Bronx rapper is saying the contrary, “Cardi don’t need more press.” Oh, really?

At midnight, Cardi B dropped a brand new single called “Press” and it will definitely have people talking.

Here’s a portion of the lyrics:

B*tches be pressed (Pressed)
They knew how I’m coming, real bitch in the flesh (Woo)
Who the f*ck she gon’ check? (Who?)
She be talking that sh*t, talkin’ out of her neck (Brr)
Put blood on her dress (Woo)
B*tches be mad when they see Cardi step in the spot (Woah)
Said that you ’bout it, we know that you not
I’ma pull up on b*tches as soon as I drop
Bought a new foreign, I might cop a yacht (Skrrt)
B*tches in my business, they tryna plot (Woo)
Hoes poppin’ sh*t like they hot but they not (No)

Can we take a guess what she’s rapping about?

The song clearly takes a page from Cardi’s most infamous headlines.

We’ve all seen her make the rounds in the court system for allegedly having something to do with a fight at a strip club. Last year, she turned herself in for allegedly beating up a woman who was suspect of cheating with her husband. She’s been charged with a misdemeanor assault in the third degree.

Cardi’s new single comes on the same day she’s scheduled to appear in court.

The girl knows how to market, you cannot deny that.

We just wonder what she will wear to court.

We’re sure she’ll keep it classy.

Here’s how some people are handling Cardi’s new track.

Cardi knows how to bring it every single time.

We’re like, “hey!”

It’s like we’re surprised but why?

This is our new schedule.

Like there’s anything else to do? Nope.

Get all the apps playing “Press.”

Get her to No. 1 everywhere!!

Another one.

She really needs to take that line from DJ Khaled.

The song of the summer.

We’re going to be playing it everyday!

It’s never too early for Cardi.

Coffee and Cardi go hand-in-hand.

She basically broke the internet.

The promo shots should be in magazines.

Check out the single below.

Cardi B Explains Why She Turned Off ‘WAP’ When Her Daughter Walked Into the Room: ‘I Don’t Make Music For Kids’

Cardi B is tired of people criticizing her for the racy lyrics to “WAP”. On Monday, the Grammy-winning rapper defended herself against haters who called her out for turning off her multi-platinum song “WAP” when her daughter entered the room.

The drama started earlier this week when Cardi went viral for a recent livestream fail.

During the livestream, Cardi appeared to be having a great time, dancing and singing along to her hit single, but quickly turned the music off when she saw her two-year-old daughter, Kulture enter the room.

Cardi mumbled “No, no, no, no,” as she shut off the raunchy song. Then, she coyly took a sip of wine.

While some people found this incident funny (and relatable), there were a select few who didn’t.

Some haters took the video as an opportunity to call Cardi hypocritical for shielding her daughter from her own song while little kids around the world are being exposed to the NSFW lyrics.

“So ya daughter cant listen to it but everybody else’s daughter can @iamcardib?” wrote an infuriated Twitter user. “AW OKAY! Exactly what I been saying you have an agenda to push with that trash ass label your with. DISGUSTING”.

Cardi didn’t waste any time defending herself. “Ya needs to stop with this already!” Cardi wrote back. “I’m not Jojo Siwa! I don’t make music for kids, I make music for adults. Parents are responsible on what their children listen to or see. I’m a very sexual person but not around my child, just like every other parent should be.”

Cardi then went on to defend the right for mothers to be sexual while also being maternal when they want to be.

“There’s moms who are strippers. Pop pussy, twerk all night for entertainment,” she wrote. “Does that mean they do it around their kids? No! Stop making this a debate. It’s pretty much common sense.”

While some users still felt the need to drag Cardi (haters gonna hate), many of her fans came to her defense, calling out the double standards that Cardi faces as a female rapper.

“It’s always the female artist getting critique,” wrote one Twitter user. “Why people don’t talk about all the disgusting music some men be putting out?”

“This!!!” wrote another user. “Like @Eminem literally has multiple songs about murdering people but no one bats an eye about that but because it’s a female talking about her wet [cat emoji] people jump to conclusions.”

It looks like the controversy surrounding “WAP” isn’t ending any time soon. And hey, if Cardi’s motive behind the song was to spark controversy, she very much succeeded in that goal.

Cardi B Has New Beef And This Time It’s With Peppa The Pig

By now we’re all probably used to hearing about Cardi B’s drama and it takes a lot to surprise us anymore. But I think few of us would have expected the latest celebrity feud that Cardi would get into.

The “WAP” raptress was recently lamenting about the trials and tribulations of the motherhood when she straight up put Peppa the Pig on blast. Apparently, daughter Kulture has been getting into the hit kids TV show and getting a few new habits that mom Cardi just can’t deal with.

Cardi B puts Peppa the Pig on blast for influencing Kulture in surprising ways.

On Sunday night, rapper Cardi B hilariously announced that she’s has had enough of the pink animated character’s influence on her 2-year-old daughter Kulture’s behavior.

“My baby been watching peppa pig and now Everytime she sees a wetpuddle she wants to stomp on top of it,” Cardi B complained in a tweet, adding her daughter’s UGG boots were damaged. “Deum you peppa pig … COUNT YOUR F—IN DAYS!”

The threat lit up social media with many relating to the mud puddle drama that Peppa the Pig has inflicted upon families around the world.

Apprently, Peppa has a thing for muddy puddles and Kulture is picking up the habit.

Peppa has been known to say, “I love muddy puddles.” Her mom, Mummy Pig, does remind her to wear her boots — but in Kulture’s defense, she doesn’t specify that they should be waterproof.

Peppa’s influence reaches far and wide. She has 21 million YouTube subscribers and is a billion-dollar industry that includes movies, music, books, toys, and theme parks. Meeting Peppa “was like meeting the Pope,” one dad who took his daughter to Peppa Pig World in Hampshire, England, told The Guardian.

Many of her American and Canadian toddler fans have started speaking in a British accent or adopting British phrases after watching the show. There’s something very charming but slightly sinister about hearing a little kid who’s never left Ontario talking about their “swimming costume” or telling their parents to get “all this rubbish off the table.”

Peppa seems to have plenty of other parents on edge for the puddle love as well.

And it’s quite obvious from all the drama on social media that Cardi B isn’t the only parent to share these same feelings about Peppa. Her fans seemed to think the threat was pretty relatable, with one person replying, “Wait til she starts hanging up the phone like a savage,” along with a clip of Peppa.

“I thought I was the only parent struggling! My daughter swears I’m wrong for saying tomato. ‘nO mOmMy, iTs tA-MAHT-toe,’” #breasocool replied.

Another person responded that Peppa is a lot bigger than Cardi B probably thinks.

“Peppa big as hell,” @danigrilm_ replied with a picture of a website claiming the character is 7 feet 1 inch tall. “You might wanna rethink that.”
