Cardi B’s Teacher Clapped Back At All The People Questioning Her Ability To Understand Government

It’s perfectly fine for anyone to express their opinion about today’s political climate, even celebrities. Some celebs, however, speak more sense than others. One personality who has never shied away from voicing their opinion is Cardi B. While people may have disregarded her during her early days as a reality tv star, now that’s she’s a full-fledged celebrity, she’s getting people’s attention. Whether she’s advocating for former NFL player Colin Kaepernick or rapper 21 Savage, the Bronx rapper knows more than a thing or two about injustices in this country — including how our government works.

People shouldn’t second guess Cardi B’s political views, just ask her AP government teacher who is backing her up by saying she is more than qualified to speak on the topic.

Cardi’s AP teacher at Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and the Arts in the Bronx told her haters to not only shut up but educated them on the rapper’s test stats.

“She probably scored higher than you on the US History Regents exam and was in my AP govt class,” Joan Hill shared on social media. “What have you done to advance political discourse in this country?… She has a national platform and is using it to speak about things that are important…why can’t we respect that? d) STFU and take a seat.”

Damn!

People on social media are applauding Cardi’s teacher for standing up for her.

It’s so awesome to know that even a young Cardi had the support she needed. Now we know why she’ll never back down from fighting against the haters and supporting her friends.

It all started when Cardi B demanded the president reopen the government and voiced legit reasons why.

Some people — mostly conservative talking heads — blasted the rapper for speaking about topics she didn’t know. But the thing is, she knows exactly what she’s talking about.

“I just wanna remind you that it’s been a little bit over three weeks,” she says in the video. “Trump is now ordering … federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid. … This is serious. Our country is in a hellhole right now. All for a…wall.”

Democratic lawmakers agreed with her views 100 percent.

People found her voice refreshing on the matter, primarily because she broke it down openly and honestly. A group of lawmakers in Iowa found her take so vital that they invited the artist to speak at a “reception of her choice.”

“We reached out to her because she speaks to the new activism in the Democratic Party and has a national audience that many leaders could only dream of, ” Sean Bagniewski, chair of the Polk County Democrats, told NBC News.

Cardi is considering it too.

Of course, there are the naysayers who said Cardi B should stick to rapping.

Cardi B quickly put this lady in check and threatened by tweeting at her “Leave me alone don’t make me dog walk you.”

The rapper was quick to point out that her views are bipartisan and are for the people.

“All these conservatives been harassing me and telling me the most disgusting things these past few days. Listen I’m not telling ya to turn liberal all I’m saying is to admit that your president is fuckin up this country right now! Liberal or conservative we ALL suffer as citizens,” she tweeted.

AOC Gets Under Ted Cruz’s Skin With Crack About His Mexican Getaway After He Accuses Her Of Pushing For ‘open borders’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ted Cruz are at it again on Twitter. This time it’s about immigration policy. After recently traveling to the US-Mexican border to underline the recent rise in immigration, Cruz accused AOC of pushing for a “full open borders” policy.

And of course, AOC got him with some solid zingers.

AOC in turn hit back at Cruz for recently fleeing his home state of Texas during its power grid collapse to vacation in Cancún.

In response to Cruz’s attack, AOC suggested Mexico avoid allowing Cruz in the next time he attempts to vacation there. She also called on him to resign from office for his attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“Ted, this is pretty rich coming from someone who fled their own home (and responsibilities) during an environmental crisis to cross the border and seek refuge in Mexico,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “Also you funded cages, expanded cages, and yet you’re complaining about cages. You have no policy, just puff.”

Ocasio-Cortez accused Republicans of hypocritically attacking the current administration’s detention of migrant children at the border after they supported President Donald Trump’s policy of separating migrant parents from their children.

Currently, Democrats like AOC are calling on Biden to impliment more liberal immigration policies.

Republicans have strongly expressed their dislike for the recent rise in migrants which has come as a result of Biden’s reversal of Trump’s most rigid border policies.

AOC is currently a co-sponsor of the Roadmap to Freedom resolution. The resolution calls on the Federal Government to develop and implement a Roadmap to Freedom “in order to overhaul the outdated immigration system in the United States that has gone without significant reform for decades, and to relieve the great human impact an unjust system bears on communities around the country.”

Looks like Cardi B is following in Rihanna’s footsteps and getting into the beauty game! According to a recent Instagram post, the Bronx-born rapper is going to be releasing a line of hair-care products for Afro-Latinas this year.

“This year I will be coming out with a hair[care] line that I been working on at home for my hair and my daughter’s,” Cardi announced on Instagram on Tuesday.

A post shared by Cardi B (@iamcardib)

She explained that the decision to make hair-care products for Afro-Latinas was inspired by her realization that it’s “time for people to educate themselves on nationality, race and ethnicity.”

“Being Hispanic/Latina don’t make your hair long, don’t make your skin light, or don’t make your face features slim, [e]specially Latin countries from the Caribbean islands,” she explained further. “DNA [has] something to do with your hair, not your nationality.”

As many Latinos know, many non-Latinos are uneducated about the diversity of Latinidad. People expect all Latinos to look like Eva Longoria or Salma Hayek. But as we know, Latino is an ethnicity, not a race. Latinos come in all different shades, with vastly different features.

The comments on Cardi’s post were elated at the news that she would be releasing hair-care products for Afro-Latinas.

“Thank you!!! I’m Panamanian and they act like we don’t exist!” wrote one fan.

“Hair doesn’t have ethnicity. It has texture. It’s not black hair or white hair. It’s curly hair or straight hair. Kinky hairy or curly. 4a or 4c. People just generalize it and don’t understand,” wrote another.

On Twitter, another fan wrote: “Ok fav let’s talk about the hair care line you talking about so I can buy it and I won’t have to keep making the mask, forget everything else.”

Cardi’s decision to make hair-care products for Afro-Latinas came from (what else?) a Twitter argument.

When a Twitter user decided to challenge Cardi’s Blackness (again). The argument started when a Twitter user was claiming that Cardi’s hair pattern disqualifies her from being considered “Black.” So Cardi took it upon herself to educate her followers about the existence of Afro-Latinos. She also gave her followers a history lesson on the Dominican Republic.

The conversation got so frustrating that Cardi tweeted: “I think I’m going to do a video of different Hispanic people or Latin people or w.e. the correct term is nowadays. Cause people be thinking that every Hispanic is Mexican or something and must have the same hair texture, color, and features.”

Cardi B has always been passionate about hair-care. Last year, she shared a DIY hair mask recipe that she uses on her and Kulture’s rizos.

The hair mask consisted of argan oil, castor oil, olive oil, and mayonnaise. Since then, the at-home hair mask has gained a small but vocal fan club online.

If her hair mask recipe is a preview for things to come, we can’t wait to buy Cardi B’s hair-care products for Afro-Latinas.
