Cardi B’s Teacher Clapped Back At All The People Questioning Her Ability To Understand Government

It’s perfectly fine for anyone to express their opinion about today’s political climate, even celebrities. Some celebs, however, speak more sense than others. One personality who has never shied away from voicing their opinion is Cardi B. While people may have disregarded her during her early days as a reality tv star, now that’s she’s a full-fledged celebrity, she’s getting people’s attention. Whether she’s advocating for former NFL player Colin Kaepernick or rapper 21 Savage, the Bronx rapper knows more than a thing or two about injustices in this country — including how our government works.

People shouldn’t second guess Cardi B’s political views, just ask her AP government teacher who is backing her up by saying she is more than qualified to speak on the topic.

Cardi’s AP teacher at Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and the Arts in the Bronx told her haters to not only shut up but educated them on the rapper’s test stats.

“She probably scored higher than you on the US History Regents exam and was in my AP govt class,” Joan Hill shared on social media. “What have you done to advance political discourse in this country?… She has a national platform and is using it to speak about things that are important…why can’t we respect that? d) STFU and take a seat.”

Damn!

People on social media are applauding Cardi’s teacher for standing up for her.

It’s so awesome to know that even a young Cardi had the support she needed. Now we know why she’ll never back down from fighting against the haters and supporting her friends.

It all started when Cardi B demanded the president reopen the government and voiced legit reasons why.

Some people — mostly conservative talking heads — blasted the rapper for speaking about topics she didn’t know. But the thing is, she knows exactly what she’s talking about.

“I just wanna remind you that it’s been a little bit over three weeks,” she says in the video. “Trump is now ordering … federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid. … This is serious. Our country is in a hellhole right now. All for a…wall.”

Democratic lawmakers agreed with her views 100 percent.

People found her voice refreshing on the matter, primarily because she broke it down openly and honestly. A group of lawmakers in Iowa found her take so vital that they invited the artist to speak at a “reception of her choice.”

“We reached out to her because she speaks to the new activism in the Democratic Party and has a national audience that many leaders could only dream of, ” Sean Bagniewski, chair of the Polk County Democrats, told NBC News.

Cardi is considering it too.

Of course, there are the naysayers who said Cardi B should stick to rapping.

Cardi B quickly put this lady in check and threatened by tweeting at her “Leave me alone don’t make me dog walk you.”

The rapper was quick to point out that her views are bipartisan and are for the people.

“All these conservatives been harassing me and telling me the most disgusting things these past few days. Listen I’m not telling ya to turn liberal all I’m saying is to admit that your president is fuckin up this country right now! Liberal or conservative we ALL suffer as citizens,” she tweeted.

Last night’s Grammys was a long almost 4-hour performance, and it was full of tears, incredible performances, and lots of surprises. Here’s how it all went down.

Camila Cabello opened the 61st Annual Grammy Awards with her nominated track “Havana” in a West Side Story-type of vibe.

She had a colorful dress, the city backdrop, and incredible dirty dancing moves. Though it wasn’t just her on stage. Nope. Ricky Martin — who took his son as his date — came out to share the stage with Cabello to sing a Spanish tune. They were then joined by J. Balvin. He finished the number with his hit, “Mi Gente.”

Cardi B performed her provocative latest single — “Money” — in some kind of quilted purple heaven.

There was one major problem though. A lot of people are accusing Cardi B of lip-syncing during her performance. Guess you can’t really blame her, she was walking around on a massive quilted stage in huge heels after all.

Offset, her baby daddy didn’t seem to mind one bit though because he was basically drooling in his seat.

He clearly isn’t shy about telling the world they are back together.

Cardi B didn’t go home empty-handed. She took home a Grammy for Best Rap Album, making history in the process.

Cardi B made history as the first solo female rapper to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album. The Bronx artist was undoubtedly surprised and moved by the award for Best Rap Album for her debut release “Invasion Of Privacy.” She went onstage with Offset and couldn’t stop shaking and was speechless for a bit. She then said: “Perhaps I should start smoking weed.” She went on to thank many people and then got personal when she thanked her daughter. She said it was a lot of hard work to put out this album while being pregnant.

Other Latin Grammy winners last night included Claudia Brant for Best Latin Pop Album;’ Zoé won Best Latin Rock; Urban or Alternative Album Best Regional Mexican Music Album (Including Tejano) went to Luis Miguel; Best Tropical Latin Album went to the Spanish Harlem Orchestra; Dafnis Prieto Big Band won Best Latin Jazz Album; and for Best Improvised Jazz Solo & Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album went to John Daversa and the John Daversa Big Band, which featured DACA artists.

Later in the evening, Jennifer Lopez did a special — head-scratching — performance tribute to Motown.

People on social media couldn’t understand why J.Lo — a Latina — would sing and perform a tribute for Motown and not a black artist.

Smokey Robinson, who also performed on stage with her Lopez, responded to the backlash and said that Motown is for everyone, not just black people.

“I don’t think anyone who is intelligent is upset,” he told Variety. “I think anyone who is upset is stupid.” He added “Motown was music for everybody. Everybody. Who’s stupid enough to protest Jennifer Lopez doing anything for Motown?”

Here are some jaw-dropping fashion moments from the Grammys red-carpet.

You may think this unique number was created just for her, but this gown is Haute couture! Her seashell-like dress comes from the Mugler Fall 1995 Couture collection. Stunning!

Andrea Echeverri, lead singer of the Spanish rock band, Aterciopelados, didn’t need to win a Grammy because she dressed like one.

The group, nominated for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album, didn’t win their award, but they won on the red carpet, and that’s what matters.

Once again this lady had to bring a Trump-loving outfit to the Grammys.

Singer/songwriter Joy Villa is best known for her controversial conservative message that she wears on the red carpet more than her attempts at music. In 2017, she wore a “Make America Great Again Dress,” and last year she proudly wore an anti-abortion dress. It’s clear she just wants the attention.

The best-dressed couple has to be ARod and J.Lo.

That suit! That hat! It’s all too much, but damn it’s so good.
