After Cosmetic Surgeries Led To Complications And Canceled Shows, Cardi B Says She’s No Longer Down To Go Under The Knife

Cardi B loves to keep it real. It’s why people either love her or hate her. She has zero filters. Even when it comes to talking about sensitive issues like plastic surgery.

She has been very vocal about her relationship with plastic surgery and her struggle with recovery.

And now, the “Bodak Yellow” singer says she’s never getting plastic surgery again.

She took to Twitter to share the big revelation.

The news comes two weeks after she was reportedly forced to cancel a scheduled performance at a Memorial Day festival due to serious fallout from her recent cosmetic surgeries.

The rapper’s post-baby plastic surgeries have been a topic of discussion for over a month now, ever since the new mum told Entertainment Tonight that she’d had her breast implants redone. Cardi went into even more detail about her liposuction surgery, telling the crowd at the Beale Street Music Festival in Tennessee that she wasn’t even supposed to be performing post-op.

“I should have canceled today,” she said while onstage at the festival. “I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f*** up my lipo. But bitch, I’m still gonna get my motherf****** money back. Let’s go!”

Weeks later she was forced to cancel her headline performance at the 92Q Spring Bling Festival in Baltimore, Maryland over Memorial Day Weekend among other shows.

Most recently, she showed her Instagram followers a photo of her extremely swollen feet.

Sharing that the swelling also affects her stomach and that medical professionals were advising her to take it slow. “Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane, imagine my body,” she wrote. “Reasons why doctors told me to chill on shows.”

Some Tweeted at the singer saying any extra cash she has from skipping on plastic surgery, could easily be redirected to fans.

I mean that’s one way to try and earn the money for some plastic surgery…

But most on Twitter were right up there in the rappers corner.

With nothing but support for the big decision she’s made.

Many were proud of the “Money” rapper for taking control of her health and body.

So, bravo Miss Cardi B!

We are all stanning for you.

Romeo Santos Streaming Historic MetLife Stadium Concert Next Month

For those who missed Romeo Santos’s historic MetLife Stadium concert in 2019, the king of bachata is going to release the show to streaming next month. The former Aventura frontman will also release a documentary on his meteoric rise.

Romeo Santos broke many records for his MetLife Stadium concert in 2019.

Starting with the announcement of his MetLife Stadium concert, Santos broke record after record. First, he became the first Latin artist to headline the massive New Jersey Stadium. After tickets went on sale, Santos became the first Latin artist to sell out the venue.  When the concert kicked off on Sept. 21, he then broke the record for the highest-grossing show in the stadium’s history. Before Romeo, the top-grossing record belonged to the Irish band U2.

Aventura and Cardi B joined Romeo Santos during that show.

Santos’ MetLife Stadium concert was not only historic for the records. The concert was also major for his reunion with Aventura. The guys came back together to perform “Inmortal” live from Santos’ Utopía album. That night Cardi B also joined Aventura to perform the band’s classic “Obsesión.”

Fans can see the MetLife Stadium show and a Romeo Santos documentary next month.

Santos is teaming up with Sony Music Latin, Endeavor Streaming, and iNDemand to release Romeo Santos: Utopía Live from MetLife Stadium on June 25. On the same night, Santos will also release his documentary Romeo Santos: The King of Bachata. Fans can buy their tickets to both pay-per-view events on his official website.

“These films have been such a special project for me and I’m honored and eager to show it to the world and pull back the curtain on the history of bachata,” Santos said in a statement. “For the film to showcase my upbringing and build up to my performance at MetLife Stadium, it gives me the opportunity to relieve one of the most incredible nights of my life while also bringing it inside the homes of my fans across the world.”

Guests appearing in the films include Daddy Yankee, Emilio Estefan, Marc Anthony, Tommy Mottola, and Thalía. It’s because of that iconic MetLife Stadium show that Santos is nominated for Latin Touring Artist of the Decade at this year’s Pollstar Awards.

Cardi B doesn’t stop hustling. Recently, the Bronx-born rapper filed legal documents to trademark the phrase “Bardi Beauty”. That means that Cardi B is thinking of getting into the makeup and beauty game.

So, in essence, Cardi B is planning a full takeover of the beauty industry. And we can’t wait! Cardi B’s past red carpet and photoshoot looks have practically broken the internet with their creativity and innovation.

This trademark filing comes to no surprise to fans who have been closely following the rapper’s business life. Cardi B has been teasing the idea of releasing a beauty line for years. Just last month, Cardi claimed that she wanted to start a haircare line for Afro-Latinas.

Earlier this year, Cardi announced on Instagram: “This year I will be coming out with a hair[care] line that I been working on at home for my hair and my daughter’s.”

“Being Hispanic/Latina don’t make your hair long, don’t make your skin light, or don’t make your face features slim, [e]specially Latin countries from the Caribbean islands,” she further explained on Twitter. “DNA [has] something to do with your hair, not your nationality.

“Bardi Beauty” would be one of many business spin-offs that Cardi would commit her time to. It was only a matter of time before she went the beauty route with Bardi Beauty.

The Grammy-winning rapper already has had massive success collaborating with brands like Reebok, Steve Madden, and Fashion Nova.

Fellow music jefas Rihanna and Selena Gomez have created lucrative beauty brands like Fenty Beauty and Rare Beauty to great fanfare. In fact, creating a beauty brand to go along with her music brand seems like a natural thing for Cardi B to do.

Let’s hope that Bardi Beauty will take the Fenty Beauty route and create products for people of different races, ethnicities, and skin colors.
