Cardi B Claps Back At “Republicans And Conservatives” Who Want Her To Shut Up When It Comes To Politics

Cardi B isn’t known for keeping quiet. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and share her views. Even if it means pissing off a whole lot of people. It’s one of the things that people love most about her.

Though it’s also one of the things that seems to be sending a lot of people into an angry rage. Maybe because as a hugely popular entertainer, Cardi B has the power to shift some people’s votes…?

Since the “Press” singer came out and publicly supported Bernie Sanders for president, many people have been coming for the rapper saying she needs to keep quiet. Well you know Cardi, that just incensed her to speak out even more.

Cardi B shared a video on her Twitter clapping back at the hate she’s got for speaking her mind when it comes to politics.

In the video Cardi B says that a lot of “Republicans are Conservatives have been dragging her” but tat she hasn’t been saying anything terrible about “these people and their President.”

She also shared how her father is the one who has encouraged her to speak her mind and To use her platform before going full Cardi and saying that since she pays so much in taxes she’ll 100% use her voice just how she wants to.

But Cardi has never been a stranger to sharing her political views.

Cardi, no stranger to a viral moment online, hasn’t shied away from sounding off on politics, whether that means questioning how her tax money is being spent, discussing the repercussions of President Donald Trump’s government shutdown or showing support for Rep. Ilhan Omar in the face of racist attacks.

True Cardi fans (or Bardi gang as they refer to themselves), however, know that Cardi’s interest in politics has been longtime and spurred by a deep love of history, something that was confirmed by her high school history teacher, who noted on social media that not only did Cardi take her AP Government class, but that she was proud of her for using her platform to speak about issues that matter.

She was out there endorsing candidates even before the 2016 election.

Even back in 2016, “Daddy Bernie” had the rapper’s support.

And it seems like Bernie Sanders is totally on board with the support he’s gotten from Cardi.

In an interview with MSCNB, Bernie said he was grateful for her support and shared that they’ve actually had one on one chats to discuss important issues facing the country today.

He also praised Cardi B for her interest in politics and knowledge of American history.

Cardi B was also one of the first to come to the defense of Rep. Ilhan Omar.

After chants of “send her home” at a Trump rally, Cardi B was quick to take to Instagram to show her support for Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN). The congresswoman was the target of the racist chants and also one of the targets of Trump’s racist tweets. But Cardi B wasn’t having any of it.

Even ABC News has admitted that Cardi B’s voice carries a lot of weight.

Never underestimate the voice of a strong woman.

Although Cardi may be taking some heat from people upset about her sharing her views, she’s algo getting a lot of support on social media.

Most comments on social media say they’re not usually happy when celebs try and get involved in politics. But many were absolutely stanning for Cardi B – a strong willed, fierce, Afro-Latina woman sharing her views on politics and speaking her mind. And that is something I think we can all get behind.

Cardi B Spilled Knowledge And Acceptance In Support Of Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union’s Trans Child Zaya

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been open and vocal about the support of their trans child Zaya. The discussion surrounding their child started in earnest when the parents posted photos with them during Miami Pride 2019. People have been weighing on the child’s gender identity and Cardi B recently shared her thoughts on the issue and fans are here for it.

Gabrielle Union and her husband Dwyane Wade are showing unconditional love and support for their trans child.

According to various studies, parental acceptance is an important factor in keeping LGBTQ+ youth safe and healthy. LGBTQ+ youth experience higher instances of mental, psychological, and physical trauma, including higher risks of HIV and AIDS infections. Parental acceptance and guidance can offset the known dangers for LGBTQ+ youth. Union and Wade’s support of Zaya is a crucial lesson for other parents with LGBTQ+ children.

The latest celebrity to weigh in on the conversation around Zaya is Cardi B.

The rapper, who has been accused of transphobic comments in the past, threw her full support behind Zaya and their parents. In 2018, Cardi B faced backlash after posting a transphobic meme to her Facebook account. Celebrity trans activists Laverne Cox and Angelica Ross weighed in on the meme calling Cardi B out for her use of the meme in light of the disproportionate murders facing Black trans women.

Yet, now it seems Cardi B is supporting the trans community with an Instagram video calling for support, acceptance, and love for Zaya.

“Let’s not forget that this is a kid. Let’s not forget that this kid could be very very sensitive. That’s 1,” Cardi B told fans in her Instagram video. “And, let me tell you something, right? I feel like people are saying that this kid is too young to transition but it’s like how old is too young? If you are born thinking that you are a girl in a boy’s body, how old do you have to be in order to keep knowing that that’s who you are? That’s who you are. That’s your identity. If that’s who you feel that you are, what is the age limit for you to know that that’s what you want to be?”

People on social media are cautiously celebrating Cardi B’s message.

Today’s cancel culture leaves a lot to be desired. It has become a common occurrence to see people canceled for having problematic views. Cardi B has been able to push forward with her career and has made history as a female rapper. She has long been criticized for her transphobic views and it now looks like Cardi B has changed her views.

“I seen a documentary before, not really a documentary but a long 18-minute video on YouTube way before this Zion situation about this 5-year-old little girl that at 5 years old she transitioned to be a girl,” Cardi B said in the video. “She knew that that’s what she wanted to be because she knew that. She liked to wear dresses. She likes to play with Barbies. And if you’re born like that, you’re forever going to be like that. Whether the age that you pick it to be, it’s your choice.”

For Cardi B, the most important thing is that people let people be happy and free, especially children.

“Let people find their happiness, especially kids. Let them feel comfortable doing what they want to be,” Cardi B says. “And it’s true. A lot of trans [people] that I know around me, like, when I ask them, ‘When did you know that you wanted to change?’ They say, ‘I’ve always felt like I was a girl. I always felt like I was a girl. I was born like this. People are born like this. Like the Lady Gaga song ‘I was born this way,’ like that sh-t is f-cking real.”

Her defense of Zaya and the Union-Wade family seems so genuine and real.

In another video clip circulating, Carid B is calling on people to try to be more open and understanding. Some people live in communities where they do not interact with people who are in the LGBTQ+ community or hold old thoughts towards the community. Cardi B wants those people to try to open their minds and understand that people living as their authentic self is nothing to attack.

Even some who do not like nor support Cardi B are siding with her on this one.

It’s hard not to support someone who is pushing for better acceptance of a marginalized community. This is something we can all get behind because love is love and love always wins.

A Trump Supporter Tried To Come For Cardi B After She Said She Wants To Be A Politician And Failed

The 27-year-old queen of rap, Cardi B, announced to her Twitter followers Sunday that she’s thinking about becoming a politician. “I think I want to be a politician,” the rapper tweeted, adding, “I really love government even tho I don’t agree with Goverment.” Since then, the rapper has expanded on what she’s thinking she’ll do next to make those dreams come true, including returning to school. Since announcing her interest, Cardi B’s already started expanding on the issues that matter to her. She wants to represent the vast majority of Americans who don’t want war. Cardi B wants gun screening to look more like screening to join the military. Cardi B says she believes “we have the right to bear arms,” but she also believes in raising the minimum age limit to own a gun, requiring “mental check-ups” and “proper training” to screen for gun owners.

Of course, Trump supporters have come to drag Cardi B, using coded language to attack her intelligence, education and slut-shame her. Good thing Cardi B is self-secure enough to combat classism.

First, Cardi B says she wants to go back to school “a couple of years” to “shake the table.”

“I deadass have sooo much ideas that make sense,” Cardi suggested, saying, “I just need a couple of years of school and I can shake the table.” A few minutes later, Cardi B recalled all the war documentaries she’s been watching lately. “No matter how many weapons a country have you need people! How are you trying to go against a country and possibly start a war when this country lacks patriotism? I barely see people claiming they LOVE being American,” she tweeted.

Trump supporter and internet personality Mindy Robinson decided to try Cardi B.

You’re going to need more school than that.  👌🏻,” Robinson tweeted, along with a proofread version of Cardi B’s tweet and the subversive white supremacy symbol. “Your spaces are off too…but hey, how can we hold you accountable for kindergarten level sh*t, am I right?” Robinson asked of Cardi B.

Cardi took the bait and clapped back with a warning: “don’t want to dog walk you ❤️”

“Sis your lips ashy and you barely have none …Leave me alone,” Cardi responded to the MAGA right’s internet poster child. “I didn’t insulted your party or your believes so please don’t try me and let’s keep sweet OK….don’t want to dog walk you  ❤️,” Cardi added. Of course, Robinson soaked up the attention and responded to essentially assert classism. “I went to college for both American History and Political Science,” Robinson tweeted, adding, “although to be fair…even my cat is more qualified to run for Congress than Cardi B. 👌🏻”

Robinson concluded her tweet once again with the controversial “👌🏻” emoji, which was initially used by a small set of white supremacists who thought the hand gesture symbolized the “w” and “p” in “white power.” It’s since grown into an internet sensation for the right as a way to “troll” liberals. The “👌🏻” is so ubiquitous that it’s easy for someone who uses it maliciously to just say they’re making an “okay” symbol. From MAGA far-right supporters, it’s become a well-protected microaggression to people of color.

In response, Cardi followed through on her word and dog walked the mierda out of Robinson.

“You really mad cause you stay takin pics like this and mention Trump 20 times a day to get his attention,” Cardi B tweeted back along with a photo of Robinson in an American flag bikini. “HEY! Don’t take your anger out on me cause he don’t wanna fuck you sis  🤷🏽‍♀️ 😩😩,” Cardi B added. The MAGA-supporting right has been consistent in retweeting photos of Cardi B stripping or wearing bathing suits along with captions like, “she and ole AOC can compare how their cup size is inversely proportionate to their IQs.” A “Women for Trump” account with over 5,000 followers shared the news along with calling the rapper “Low IQ Cardi B.” We don’t even need to explain why “low IQ” is a racist dog whistle.

“Cardi B for Congress” has started a conversation on classism and has already generated campaign banners.

The irony of suggesting someone couldn’t be a member of congress because of their grammar despite the fact that the president you so vehemently support uses nothing higher than 3rd-grade level diction 🤦🏾‍♂️grammatical skills ≠ intelligence,” another supporter tweeted at Robinson and Cardi. “Let me tell you something cause every time I post anything political I get attack all type of crazy,” Cardi later tweeted. “If you are a conservative & if you support a opposite party that’s OK( unless you racist)we can get into friendly debates on here voice your opinion… And I’ll voice mines HOWEVER don’t try me and don’t take my kindness for weakness.I BE VIOLATING!!! I don’t really like being on that type of time. We grown! Let’s be grown. Lets teach and learn.”

In conclusion, in the words of another Twitter user, “If Donald Trump is the president of the United States right now I don’t see why Cardi B can’t be a politician.”
