Cardi B Was Forced To Cancel Her Indianapolis Concert For Legitimate Concern Over A Violent Threat

I’m pretty sure all of our tias always told us that it’s better to be safe than sorry, and it’s definitely true. Especially if you’re a major celebrity where not playing safe could put thousands of people at risk.

So that’s exactly what Cardi B decided to do when it was discovered that someone made a threat against the ”Press” rapper.

Just minutes before her show in Indianapolis, Cardi B had to cancel it because of an “unverified threat” according to local police.

Due to an ‘unverified threat,’ according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the Grammy-winning rapper was advised to cancel her concert at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday—mere minutes before it was set to begin.

While the police department specified that ‘there is no immediate threat to public safety,’ Cardi’s show has been re-scheduled for September 11, and ticket holders for the evening’s event will be honored then.

Police confirmed the threat via Twitter.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police, there was never an immediate threat or risk to the public. But they obviously found it credible enough to ask Cardi B to cancel her performance for the night.

Many found it suspicious that the threat against Cardi B comes in the wake of her speaking out about political positions and endorsing Bernie Sanders for President.

Many fans were not happy about the super last minute cancellation.

Most of her fans had already arrived to the venue and were totally ready for a night of “I Like It”, “Press”, and “Money”. So it’s understandable why people may be a bit upset – they were inconvenienced. But seriously people, come on. Safety first!

Cardi B posted an apology and proof that it wasn’t all a scam on her Twitter.

With all the hate she was getting, Cardi B came to Twitter to share a video of her rehearsing just hours before she had to cancel the night’s concert. Proof that she wasn’t sick or late or any other excuse that people were trying to throw at her.

Most people were really understanding and grateful for safety being put first.

And of course, safety comes first. Glad that most people were understanding the entire situation.

Some pointed out that if something did happen, she’d of been blamed for going on with the show.

So well said: “A concert date can be replaced, not lives.” It really is as simple as that. Sure if may suck to have your plans change but imagine if something had happened… Not only would it of been a huge tragedy but people would have blamed CArdi B for not having cancelled her show.

Though some people were basically accusing Cardi B of overreacting.

With all he hate that Cardi B gets – especially since she started speaking out about the Trump administration and endorsing Bernie Sanders – it’s not at all an overreaction to err on the side of safety.

Cardi B and her sister are being sued for defamation of character after a viral video taken by Hennessy Carolina Almánzar. The video shows two men, one wearing a MAGA hat, and one woman telling Hennessy to move her car, which is parked on the beach.

Earlier this month, Cardi B shared a video taken by her sister showing a confrontation over where a car was parked.

Cardi B, who is notorious for having widely broadcast Twitter feuds with people, posted the video in response to a tweet from Candace Owens. Owens is a controversial conservative figure whose brand is all about shock and awe. Owens famously said she thinks it would be okay if “Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well.”

Immediately, there was skepticism about the incident since the video starts during the confrontation.

Responding to nay-sayers, Cardi B shared a video of her sisters voice messages sent to her IG DMs. Hennessy claims in the messages that the white men were the aggressors against her and her girlfriend while they were on the beach.

The videos did not convince some people that her sister wasn’t in the wrong.

Cardi B’s tweet is filled with responses questioning the video and denying its authenticity. The argument immediately turned political because of the mention of Trump and Trump supporters. The conversation on Twitter is divided among people who believe Cardi B and her sister and those who don’t.

Now, Cardi B and Hennessy are being sued by the beachgoers in the video.

“These peaceful Suffolk County residents were quietly enjoying a Sunday at the Smith Point beach with their families, when rap celebrity Hennessy Carolina suddenly approached them, raging, spitting, insulting, assaulting, defaming and threatening them, all the while videotaping them because one of them wore a MAGA hat,” beachgoers’ Miller Place attorney John Ray said, according to ABC7NYC.

The lawsuit claims defamation of character because of the language used in the video against them.

According to Billboard, plaintiffs Peter Caliendo, Pauline Caliendo, and Manuel Alarcon claim that they had approached Hennessy and her girlfriend, Michelle Diaz, blocked them in with how she parked her car. The lawsuit states that the men asked for Diaz to move her car and that’s when Hennessy started to record the video and hurl names and insults at them.

This story is developing and mitú will be updating as the story unfolds.

Cardi B Just Created An Instagram Account For Kulture And It’s The Cutest Thing Ever

Cardi B Just Created An Instagram Account For Kulture And It’s The Cutest Thing Ever

There’s a new influencer in town and her name is Kulture Kiari.

On Saturday, Cardi B posted a photo of 2-year-old Kulture to her Instagram page, writing: “Follow @KultureKiari new IG…So much cool cute baby stuff coming up.”

The Instagram page Cardi was linking to was a brand new page dedicated to the chart-topping rapper’s daughter, Kulture.

So far, the page has only thirteen photos posted, but has already racked up over 700,000 followers–and counting.

A few of the pictures show Kulture in peak-cute form, wearing an adorable plaid skirt and pink cardigan. She also has a big white bow fixed on top of her head.

The rest of the photos range from Kulture swimming in a pool to experimenting with Snapchat filters. All of the pictures have captions written in first-person, like “I look like mommy here” and “My mom was annoying me but it’s ok cause I look cute.”

The Instagram account even has some #TBT photos of when culture was a baby–one notably cute one where she’s trying mashed potatoes for the first time.

Naturally, Cardi’s fans are eating up all the extra Kulture content, writing comments like “Kulture is looking all cute” and “She is so freaking beautiful”.

Commenters couldn’t help but exclaim over Kulture’s fashionable outfits, accessories and hairstyles.

In the past, Cardi has defended her decision to dress Kulture in expensive designer clothing, saying that her child is in the public eye and deserves to be dressed as well as she is.

“If I’m fly and Daddy’s fly, then so is the kid. If I’m wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid’s having the same, you know what I’m saying,” she said on Instagram. “Because if I was looking like a bad b**ch, expensive b**ch and I have my kid looking like a bum bum, then y’all would be talking s**t.”

Kulture’s new Instagram page comes just days after Cardi B filed for divorce from husband of three years, Offset.

While she has largely stayed mum on the topic, she recently broke her silence via Instagram, explaining the reason behind the divorce. Cardi said she was simply “tired of the arguments” and that her and Offset “grew apart”. She also added that she “hasn’t shed one tear” over the dissolution of her marriage.

Interestingly enough, Offset has previously been candid about his desire for Kulture to stay out of the public eye and lead a relatively normal life. “I want my kids to be kids. I don’t like them having Instagram, I don’t want to move to LA, so there won’t be cameras in their face,” he told The Breakfast Club in 2019. “I keep my kids in public school, I don’t want my kid to be spoiled.”

Cardi, it looks like, has other plans.
