After Watching Zendaya Become Bruno Mars For ‘Lip Sync Battle’ I Don’t Trust Anyone

There was a special episode of the smash hit Spike TV show “Lip Sync Battle” that aired over the weekend on MTV right before the “MTV Movie and TV awards.” Featured on this special episode of “Lip Sync Battle” was none other than Bruno Mars who sang — oh wait. That’s NOT Bruno Mars? Then… who was it?

That’s Zendaya? ?

The platinum single “24k Magic” was performed on “Lip Sync Battle” by someone who resembles Bruno Mars A LOT.

Alright, so after extensive research and checking, it was indeed Zendaya who was on “Lip Sync Battle” over the weekend and — wait, are you sure that’s not Bruno Mars? Because holy moly, it looks just like him.

Zendaya absolutely destroyed the stage.

Once you get over the fact that she looked so much like Bruno Mars, you can really appreciate the amount of work she put into her performance. From the music, to the moves, to the hair and the outfit, Zendaya masterfully showed why this series has done so well with viewers.

She first started with Erykah Badu.

She really brought her A-game, rocking the perfect Erykah Badu-style head wrap while really giving that sly and sultry vibe from Badu’s classic song “Tyrone.”

But then Zendaya moved on to the real magic of the night. The “24k Magic,” if you will.

Armed with a Jheri curl, a snapback, a red pajama suit, gold chains, dollar bills and some gyrating moves, she had the crowd jumping.

Tom Holland, who performed as Rihanna, didn’t stand a chance.

Okay, maybe he was good. But it’s definitely because he’s been training for his role as Spiderman, not because he resembles Rihanna at all.

All in all, it was a great battle – but did you see Zendaya as Bruno Mars? Because she was his spitting image.

It really takes a while to remember what Bruno even looks like now that you’ve seen Zendaya impersonating him.

Okay, here’s Bruno.

Meet Reza Parastesh.

He’s a 25-year-old student from Iran who bears a striking resemblance to a certain soccer superstar from Argentina.

That’s right, Lionel Messi. Here’s what Parastesh looks like in a Barcelona jersey.

According to the BBC, Parastesh looks so much like Messi that he was detained by police after causing a scene in the town of Hamaden.

Apparently, the Messi doppelgänger had so many people surrounding him for pictures and autographs that police had to detain him and impound his car to control a large crowd that had formed.

Paratesh didn’t always know he was Messi’s virtual twin. According to the AFP, it was his father who noticed the resemblance.

A hardcore fútbol fanatic, Parastesh’s father had him pose for a few photos in a Messi jersey. They sent the photos to a sports site, and they quickly replied to do an interview with him, reported the AFP.

Soon, Parastesh was soaking up all his newfound fame.

Now dubbed the “Iranian Messi,” Parastesh says he looks forward to brightening the day of whoever runs into him.

“I’m really happy that seeing me makes them happy and this happiness gives me a lot of energy,” said Parastesh to the AFP.
