Turns Out A Lot Of The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Cast Can Speak Fluent Spanish And We Are Impressed

With “Avengers: Endgame” topping box office charts, you might want to see the main cast try their hand at Spanish before you hit the theaters. Thanks to every good Latin reporter, we have clips of Tom Holland to Zoe Saldana speaking our tongue the best ways they know how.

Be warned. In this interview compilation provided by YouTube channel FilmArtsy, there is little to no context. Just Spanish. Disfrute.

Zoe Saldana is the picture (and sound) of beauty como siempre.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

Saldana starts off by saying, en Español, that “The last twenty years in U.S. have been very difficult, but also in Cuba…” She tells us how she loves playing such a decent, rich character who is skilled in her business.

Chris Hemsworth (a.k.a. Thor) gives us all the Spanish he knows. It’s not much and is totally random.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

He starts out by saying, “Buena suerte! Which means ‘good luck’ for all you English speakers out there, which is basically me because I’m not really that versed in Spanish. Or am I? Adios, gracias! Un cafe con leche por favor. Si. Buenas noches.”

Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and Anthony Mackie (The Falcon) play a similar game.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

“Corazon. Ay dios mio,” seems to be their response to the question of if they know Spanish. When the Latina reporter asks if that’s all the Spanish they know, they start shouting out random words. “Mas o menos. Fuego. Dulce. La película! Chocolate. Papi Chulo.”

Latino Michael Peña is known from “Ant-Man” and gives us a puro Spanglish interview.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

He’s fluent in Spanish but some words escape him like “prep school” and “priests.” Honestly, this is the most authentic way we have ever heard a Latino speak Spanish as an American.

Tom Holland (Spiderman) trying to guess Spanish words is an ego-booster we all need.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

This video has already gone viral once before, but his answer is too good not to share: “Oooh. Es–cute—Ella. Es-school-ah. Can I come back to that one? I think I do know what that is.”

Apparently, Jeremy Renner used to teach Spanish in high school.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

He tells the reporter that he understands what she’s saying but that he’s lost the motor skills he once had as a Spanish teacher. He then goes into teacher mode saying, “Escucha. Calmate. Chiquitica.”

Vin Diesel (Groot) is really into Nicky Jam.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

He asks the host, “Tu sabes Nicky Jam?” Immediately he gets up and starts dancing to Nicky Jam but is confused and starts calling out for the Puerto Rican singer.

“Nicky! Y que? Nicky Jam, y que? Donde está?” When the host says que “no está aquí,” Diesel laments, “Y por que?!”

The most shocking level of fluency was Gwyneth Paltrow.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

When asked what her favorite place is, she tells the reporter that she loved Liverpool when she was working there. But then she went to London and loved taking photos in front of Big Ben and had a lot of fun.

Baby Robert Downing Jr. was seen hosting a game show in Spanish?

FilmArtsy / YouTube

There is little to no context here and he did say “dee” instead of “de” so maybe this was back when they were hiring white people for Latin roles?

Tom Hiddleston takes on a classic Spanish tongue twister.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

Say “¿Cómo quieres que te quiera si él que quiero que me quiera no me quiere como quiero que me quiera?” three times fast. He didn’t do so bad!

Chris Pratt is still Chris Pratt in Spanish.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

“Muy buenas directes de español. *Knock Knock Knock* Hola a mi representa mechanical shop. Especial por treinta personas. Cuatro cambio de siete por veinte dólares. Bien si?”

I’m sorry, que que?

Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie singing Feliz Navidad seems like a good time.

FilmArtsy / YouTube

Anthony Mackie gives an enviously good Mexican trill at the end. Clearly, he is more connected to the culture than people might know.

Watch the whole video for yourself.

Gwyneth Paltrow Dropped A ‘Vagina’ Scented Candle—Apparently Her Eau De Vagine Smells Like Bergamot And Geranium

gwynethpaltrow / Twitter

Professional actress-turned-businesswoman Gwyneth Paltrow released an already sold out candlelast Friday, playfully named “This Smells Like My Vagina”. While it’s nice to see lady parts getting good press, we have a few questions about the $75 candle —the main one being “why though?”

Gwyneth Paltrow has made a strong business out of her vagina.

The actress-turned-wellness-guru —through her platform Goop – introduced us to the concept of vaginal steaming, jade vaginal eggs and, of course, the elusive sex dust moon juice. Now, to start 2020 on a high vaginal note, we have the vagina candle, which has already sold-out, prompting a waitlist.

The $75 item contains traditional perfume elements “to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth,” the product copy reads.

The notes of the candle include geranium, citrusy bergamot, cedar, Damask rose, and ambrette seed. The blend is meant to amount to the aroma of the actress’ very rich and powerful vag. Additionally, Goop describes it as “a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent.”

We’re not sure if the name is meant to be a joke, or if the candle actually smells like lady parts

According to a previous Goop description, the provocative name came from a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and Paltrow. The two were testing a fragrance one day when she declared, “Uhhh, this smells like a vagina.” The bouquet evolved into a “funny, gorgeous, sexyand beautifully unexpected scent.”

Let us not forget that Paltrow’s vagina products have landed the businesswoman in hot water before

In September 2019, Goop paid a $145,000 settlement in a lawsuit over vaginal eggs. The website had made unproven claims that the Jade Egg and the Rose Quartz Egg, could “balance hormones, regulate menstrual cycles, prevent uterine prolapse, and increase bladder control,” said the Orange County District Attorney’s office in California. Not so, said the California Food, Drug and Medical Device Task Force, who argued that Goop’s assertion wasn’t based on scientific evidence.

Like many other products sold on Goop’s website, the 10.5-ounce hooha-inspired candle is relatively overpriced, ringing up at $75.

But alas, that hasn’t stopped a flurry of curious online shoppers from snagging one in hopes of gleaning feelings of “fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth,” as the product description promises.

Unsurprisingly, the internet nearly broke when the news about this candle broke. Keep reading for some of Twitter’s funniest reactions.

You all need a time-out indeed.

The future is now, folks

Who would’ve thought this would be what 2020 had in store for us.

Jenny here, sure knows how to crack a vajayjay joke

Ouch…burrrn

And then, ‘The Rock’ got involved —yup, you read that right.

Given that this is evidently the nature of the times we’re living in, whether we like it or not, comedian Adam Ray suggested on Instagram that The Yankee Candle Company should get in on the action by selling candles that smell of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson‘s balls.

Responding to the post, the wrestler-turned-actor joked that he had tried to create such a product in the past, but it hadn’t quite gone to plan.

Pantene could never. #CommentsByCelebs

He wrote: “Brother I tried to make those candles but I kept burning my balls. So I moved on to shampoo.” Now there’s an image for us all to enjoy. He also added the hashtag ‘#scentofsac’, which I think really adds a certain something to the story.

The candle is a collaboration with Heretic, a perfume company that has revolutionised fragrance with their chemical-free, androgynous products.

“We sit on the floor and geek out on fragrance,” Paltrow shared of the collaboration.

‘This Smells Like my Vagina’ is a nice little pre-game for the absurdity that is coming.

Surely, the viral and much-talked-about candle has something to do with Gwyneth’s new Netflix docu-series, The Goop Lab. The show will delve deep into the actresses surreal world of yoni eggs and unorthodox wellness practices. Set to premiere on Netflix on January 24th, we can’t help to suspect whether or not this candle is a great marketing stunt to create a buzz around Gwen’s brand.

As a self-confessed Goop tragic, I think that everything that the website, and Gwyneth does is a comedy goldmine. You could lock all the SNL alumni in a room and they’d never come up with things as bone-shatteringly funny as the Goop shop and newsletters, case in point, this title; ‘Inbox sage for the digital age.’ —no joke. I hope that Gwyneth never stops. I hope that she keeps promoting crazy health teas and rose quartz dildos until her final days.

The ‘Fast And Furious’ Franchise Is Adding More Latino Talent To The Upcoming Film

The street racing and action-packed franchise ‘Fast And Furious’ is back for its ninth installment. Spanning from 2001 to 2020, a whole generation of us grew up alongside the intense car races, elaborate heists, and Dom’s signature at-the-hood-of-a-car lectures. Fast forward nearly 20 years later and just like a NOS button propels a car to the finish line, the ‘FF’ franchise is showing no signs of slowing down, it’s only getting bigger. Film creators have announced the casting of a Latino superstar to be featured in the next installment. And if you, like us, love reggaetón, you’re in for a treat.

The Fast and Furious franchise recruited Latin trap superstar Ozuna.

Reggaetón superstar Ozuna, one of Latin music’s biggest exponents, has landed a role in the street racing action franchise ‘Fast and Furious’. Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, better known as Ozuna, will be joining Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, on the ninth installment of the action classic.

This would be Ozuna’s second venture into film after his debut appearance on the 2018 Dominican film “Qué Leon,” a family comedy directed by Frank Perozo and starring the Latin Trap star alongside Dominican actress and model, Clarissa Molina. “Qué Leon” already has a sequel in store, and the singer-turned actor is set to reprise his role as Jose Miguel Leon next year.

The singer-turned-actor is a successful musician in the Latinx community and we can’t wait to see him make a splash in Hollywood.

The reggaetón star turned singer, won two Latin American Music Awards last year, and led the list of nominations with a total of nine. He also has a nomination for a 2019 Latin Grammy Award for best urban song for his single “Baila Baila Baila,” which he co-wrote with songwriter Vicente Saavedra. Ozuna also won 11 Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2018, becoming the biggest winner in the history of the ceremony. Hopefully, his acting career will be just as successful as his music career has been.

Dom Toretto himself announced Ozuna’s involvement via an Instagram post.

Vin Diesel, who will be leading the cast of old and new characters, confirmed the involvement of the Puerto Rican singer via his Instagram account.

“As you know, we have often found great talent in the music industry to cross over into film. They are expected to leave all the accolades at the door to embrace the character with integrity… and that is exactly what Ozuna has done. Very proud of your work and role in Fast 9! Pa Mi Gente! All Love, Always…” The 52-year-old also used the hashtag of #YoungSantos in his post, suggesting that Ozuna’s character will be aligning himself to Vin’s character.

It looks like Ozuna is booked and busy for the rest of the year —but his newfound acting career is not getting in the way of new music.

The singer is also set to appear in the sequel of his debut film “Qué Leon.” The next installment of the Dominican film, “Los Leones” is already in pre-production. The ‘Baila Baila Baila’ singer, will also be releasing his third album, “Nibiru,” in late November followed by an international tour.

‘Fast & Furious 9’ has more surprises in store.

Justin Lin, who directed “Fast & Furious 6,” returns to direct the ninth installment with the franchise’s mainstays Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Jordana Brewster. Only this time, several international actors are joining the ranks. Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron are coming back, joined by newcomers John Cena and hip-hop singer Cardi B.

Vin Diesel announced that Cardi B is also involved but whether she’s playing a substantial role or only making a cameo appearance, hasn’t been disclosed.

Vin Diesel made the news public in an Instagram post with the rapper, who said, “I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one.”

This is the second high-profile acting gig for Cardi, who might be following in the footsteps of many other hip-hop stars into a film career. For now, her role in the film remains undisclosed. Wouldn’t it be great to see her take the wheel in a race car?

Keanu Reeves might also be joining the cast.

In an interview with Screen Rant, the franchise’s long-time writer Chris Morgan revealed that he sat down with Reeves to discuss him potentially joining the forthcoming film. “I sat down with him and we’re talking about [it],” Morgan said. “I wanted him to be in the Fast universe for a very long time. We’re just trying to find… the hardest thing is always time and competing schedules and then designing the right thing together. My fervent desire is to bring him into this franchise for sure.”

The screenplay was written by Dan Casey based on a story by Lin and Alfredo Botello. Fast & Furious 9 will come out in May 2020, following a number of delays. It will follow the recent spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, which starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham. The last official Fast & Furious film was Fast & Furious 8, also known as The Fate Of The Furious, which came out back in 2017.
