This story was originally published in August 28, 2019.

Dad’s can be the best, man. Whether they are showing you how to change a tire or supporting you when you are down, some dads just get it. When we grow up, it is always nice to remember what they have done for you and try to pay them back. That is what one family in Los Angeles did by buying their dad a brand new truck and he just couldn’t contain his surprise and emotions.

In the video, you can hear the adult kids showering their father with love and they tell him they got him a new truck. In true dad fashion, he responds with, “Yo no quería nada” through tears. The whole video is one of unfiltered family love and appreciation and it is just the sweetest thing you can watch today.

Redditers are showering the poster with love and praise for the loving gesture.

People can see the kind of work the man did to take care of his family. He is definitely not someone who took it easy and just let things happen. We all know at least one man in our family that has that some walk all because he had to take care of his family.

The video is a relevant and realistic look at their own families.

This is something that can be said about the fathers of most immigrant/minority families. Fathers work hard to make sure their family can have a better life. Immigrants are some of the hardest working people and the way they are willing to sacrifice their bodies to better the lives of their families is admirable.

The amount of love pouring out from his family is all people need to see to make a judgment on his character.

People don’t get a lot of love with having first given love. The amount of love and appreciation this family has for the dad is a direct indication of how much he has done for his family. This is one loving family and it shows.

The video is bringing everyone who sees it to tears.

Admit it, you cried. We all cried. If you don’t cry to this wholesome af video, we cannot be friends.

And the dad carrying the beer makes the whole video that much better.

You know exactly what was happening before the video because he is carrying his beer. The family was just chilling at the end of the day like they usually do being a family. From beginning to end, this video is all about love and appreciation and we need more of this.

Richard Ramirez, a.k.a. The Night Stalker, spent the summer of 1985 terrorizing Los Angeles. Ramirez murdered 13 people during his reign of terror in Southern California. Netflix’s new docuseries is exploring the crime by interviewing law enforcement and family of the victims.

“Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial” killer is now streaming on Netflix.

“Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer” is the latest Netflix docuseries diving into the true crimes that have shaped American society. Richard Ramirez is one of the most prolific serial killers of all time and single-handedly terrorized Los Angeles during the summer of 1985.

Ramirez fundamentally changed Los Angeles and the people who live there. The serial killer was an opportunistic killer. He would break into homes using unlocked doors and opened windows. Once inside, he would rape, murder, rob, and assault the people inside the home.

The documentary series explores just how Ramirez was able to keep law enforcement at bay for so long. The killer did not have a standard modus operandi. His victims ran the gamut of gender, age, and race. There was no indicator as to who could be next. He also rarely used the same weapon when killing his victims. Some people were stabbed to death while others were strangled and others still were bludgeoned.

While not the first telling of Ramirez’s story, it is the most terrifying account to date.

“Victims ranged in age from 6 to 82,” director Tiller Russell told PEOPLE. “Men, women, and children. The murder weapons were wildly different. There were guns, knives, hammers, and tire irons. There was this sort of feeling that whoever you were, that anybody could be a victim and anybody could be next.”

Family members of the various victims speak in the documentary series about learning of the horror committed to them. People remember grandparents and neighbors killed by Ramirez. All the while, police followed every lead to make sure they left no stone unturned.

“Night Stalker: The Hunt For a Serial Killer” is now streaming on Netflix.

A family from Arizona has tragically been without a home since New Year’s Day. Fortunately, however, thanks to the swift efforts of a neighbor, they still have each other.

On New Year’s Day, the Salgado family was asleep in their home in Avondale, Arizona when they heard a frantic knock at their door. Nicole Salgado’s husband, who lived in the home with their children, opened the front door to find her neighbor shouting at her to get her family out of the house. It was on fire.

The Salgado family woke up New Year’s Day to find their house in flames.

“We were all asleep,” Salgado explained to CNN in an interview. “Then all of the sudden around 7:30 in the morning, we hear banging on our door and our doorbell is going off and we kind of get scared.”

Their neighbor, Carolyn Palisch, was there telling them to get out of the house. Footage from the family’s home security video shows their neighbor running past flames to get to the home.

“He opened the door and all I heard was our neighbor Carolyn saying your house is on fire you have to get out,” said Salgado.

Salgado, who is a mother to four children, hurried to gather her children. Together, all of them escaped the burning home safely. “It was just kind of frantic at first, making sure we got everyone out and the dogs out,” she explained. “Then once we realized the full extent of it we were just in shock as we watched our home burn.”

Sadly, the Salgado family lost all their belongings in the fire

Salgado explained that the roof of her house collapsed moments after they escaped. According to CNN, firefighters at the scene claimed that if the family had still been sleeping at the time the roof had collapsed they would have inhaled the smoke and likely passed out immediately.

We are so thankful to just be alive,” Salgado explained in a post to her TikTook page. She also included doorbell camera footage of the moment their neighbor came to the rescue.

Salgado’s video has been liked nearly 7 million times on TikTok.

“Never did we think it was going to blow up the way it did. But we are so grateful,” Salgado explained. “We are so glad it did for Carol, to show how amazing she is. If it wasn’t for her it’d be a totally different story. We feel so thankful to her. We’re always going to consider her family. She not only saved us, she saved our kids.”

Salgado says that the cause of the fire is still under investigation and shared that her family has created a Go Fund Me account to help them rebuild their lives.
