These High School Soccer Players Are Going Viral After Choreographing A Quince Dance And It’s Actually Pretty Good

We all know that having a perfect quinceañera takes a hell of a lot of effort. And also, that Murphy’s Law is a thing, hindsight is 20/20 vision, so there’s probably many things that you think you would probably do differently if you were doing your quince a second time around. Chances are, the first thing you would do would be get this soccer team on the case for designing your quinceañera routine, since it’s pretty much the definition of fire.

First, let’s start with the soccer team in question.

How long does it take a bored soccer team to create a quince routine? And no, this isn’t the start of a joke, or a riddle. This particular boy’s soccer team took only two minutes to choreograph a full routine! We’re pretty sure there’s gotta be some real proper teamwork coming from these guys, to put together a dance so quickly. Our other theory is that at least one person on the team knows how to dance. But, we digress.

A video of the routine surfaced on Twitter earlier this week, and it’s already been viewed more than 500,000 times.

It shows the boy’s soccer team dancing to “El vals de las mariposas,” taking us through the quinceañero dancing with everyone on the court. And while they’ve definitely got skill, the real draw was the boys’ enthusiasm for the dance. At the end of the day, it’s not really a proper celebration without happy partygoers, right?

The reactions on Twitter said it all: the team definitely impressed.

Some knew that the team was onto something – and wanted to know why they just saw something that was better than most quinces they had attended.

Some on the team were upset they missed the now viral sensation.

One team member was left out of the whole affair, since he had decided to go home before the real fun started. Clearly he missed out! Here’s hoping the team can adjust the routine and include their last team member. Or even better – that all of them get to use their routine at an actual quince.

One word: flashback!

Other Twitter users had flashbacks to the days when their mom was yelling at her and her friends. Apparently the quince practice sessions were a bit too much for that family!

Others pointed out the strong message of confidence and security being shared in this video.

One sharp Tweet pointed out that this is exactly the sort of thing that we should be seeing from boys who are secure in themselves. We love a little commentary on gender.

Is there any way we can hire this soccer team to make a quince routine for us?

If you’re really starved for choice, then you could always review their version of a quinceañera dance floor after a few drinks! Which, okay, still doesn’t solve the problem of putting together a fire quinceañera routine. At this stage, we haven’t seen any offers from the guys to turn their dancing abilities into a fully-fledged business, but who knows! It may be just a matter of time.

That being said, there are a bunch of different ways you can mix it up at a quinceañera!

This father-daughter duo took the chance to show their waltzing skills to a haunting, mystical Enya tune. It definitely gave the impression of princess dancing in a fairytale! It’s definitely one way to keep quinceañera guests entranced.

Seriously, YouTube is full of Quince inspiration!

This crew knew one hundred percent what they were doing when they came up with this quince choreography. We can easily envisage the birthday girl getting in on a routine like this one – although the quinceañero in this case decided to sit it out and watch the show in this video.

Umm…can I go back in time and celebrate a quince like this, please?

It doesn’t get much more extra than this quinceañera routine! We’re guessing that everyone involved must have been either part of a hip hop dance crew, a cheerleading team, or spent hours putting together the dance!

So what was your quinceañera routine like – and how long did it take for you to learn it? Tell us about it on our Facebook page!

Barcelona Forward Luis Suárez Might Be Vying To Join An American Team

Former Uruguayan teammate and friend, Nicolas Lodeiro, told Major League Soccer (MLS) that Barcelona forward Luis Suárez, 32, “wants to come to MLS.” Suárez and Lodeiro are both native to Uruguay and have played alongside each other at Ajax and during international matches like the 2019 Copa América. Lodeiro, who currently plays midfielder for the Seattle Sounders, is hoping Suárez comes to play for the Sounders. It wouldn’t be the first time Suárez speaks with the Sounders General Manager Garth Lagerwey. While Lodeiro and Suárez were together at Copa América this summer, Suárez reportedly overheard Lodeiro get frustrated with his English while on the phone with Lagerway. Suárez grabbed the phone and translated the transfer negotiation that landed Lodeiro in The Emerald City. Now, Lodeiro is hoping Suárez will follow suit.

“Sooner or later he’ll come to MLS. Well, hopefully,” Lodeiro said Thursday. “He likes the league. He’s always asking me things about it. Hopefully, he can also play for Seattle Sounders. It may be a more difficult task. I think it’s only a matter of time before he’s out here.”

The FC Barcelona star’s contract is set to expire in 2021, but it may happen sooner than planned.

The club just spent nearly $150 million on young striker Antoine Griezmann. “It’s not strange if they’re looking for or want to bring in another striker. That’s the reality of football,” Suárez told Ovacion. “It will be better for me because it will place demands on me. It’ll be better for the club because it’ll boost competition,” he told the Uruguay outlet. Suárez has been urging Nou Camp manager Ernesto Valverde to release him from his contract during the January transfer window. The club may want to recoup Suárez’ annual salary to offset the costs of signing Griezmann.

“There will come a time when my age won’t allow me to be at the high level that it is needed for Barcelona,” Suárez added during his Ovacion interview. “It has been five years with the same pressure and I always try to respond in the same way,” he said. “It’s not easy to come to play at a club like this and win your place. You have an exam every three days. There’s no rest and a bad day isn’t forgiven.”

Rumors that Suárez may join America’s Major League Soccer are competing with rumors that he’d play for Argentina.

“He told me maybe he comes in seven years,” Sounders’ manager Lagerwey joked in late 2016. “That was his quote, so maybe that’s when his contract runs out…I told him we’d love to have him whenever he’s ready.” Argentina is certainly vying to claim the superstar for their own. Both Boca Juniors and San Lorenzo are trying to woo Suárez. San Lorenzo’s vice president recently made Suárez a club member and gave him a team shirt. Of course, Suárez could relocate his family back to his home country of Uruguay and play for Nacional.

Basically, everyone wants Suárez to come to play for them, and it’s no wonder why.

Suárez has won 18 trophies during his career.

Of those trophies, six are league titles. It was Suárez who ended Lionel Messi’s six-year streak by winning the 2016 La Liga’s Pichichi Trophy. He’s scored 467 career goals for the various clubs he’s played for and for his country, Uruguay. His career started when he was just 14 years old and started playing for Nacional. By the time he was 19, Groningen bought him from Nacional and he happily moved to the Netherlands. He wanted to be closer to his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Sofía Balbi, who lived in Barcelona. They started dating when Suárez was just 15 years old. They married six years later and now have three children together.

It wouldn’t be the first time Suárez was courted in the middle of a contract.

When Suárez was playing for Ajax, he was placed on a suspension after biting a player, and being dubbed the “Cannibal of Ajax.” During his suspension, Liverpool offered Ajax a $30 million offer, the club’s most expensive signing at that time. Despite a second biting incident, Suárez went onto be named the Player of the Year during the 2013-2014 season. It seems the only reason Suárez would stay with Barcelona is that his wife’s family lives in Barcelona.

She Went To The Hospital For A Panic Attack With Full Zombie Makeup, Doctors Thought She Needed Emergency Surgery

It’s October, which just so happens to be my favorite month of the year. I mean, Halloween – hello! And with Halloween comes costumes and makeup.

And some people take Halloween makeup to the extreme. Case in point: this woman’s zombie makeup look was so realistic that when she arrived to a hospital for non-zombie health issues, doctors assumed it was real.

This zombie makeup look was so real it convinced actual medical staff she was in need of urgent surgery.

The woman, who lives in Detroit, apparently caused quite a bit of drama in an emergency room when she arrived to the hospital to be treated for a panic attack. However, when she arrived to the hospital she was still done up in her ultra-realistic zombie makeup. Her mouth and chin looked like it was in need of some serious surgery. So doctors did what they’re sworn to do – they prepped Jai Fears (the zombie makeup wearing woman) for immediate surgery and wheeled her off to the trauma ward.

The makeup, she claims, was mistaken for an actual medical emergency and she began being prepped to enter trauma.

“[They said] ‘Let’s get her back to trauma now,’ and ‘She’s probably going into shock, she’s not making any sense,’” Jai Fears, a back-up dancer who had undergone three hours of make-up work to create her grisly look, told Fox 2 Detroit.

Fears said she landed in Beaumont Royal Oak Hospital after suffering a panic attack while getting ready to do a photoshoot for Glam Gore. “It just shot up to my brain and it just caused like a really bad reaction,” she told Fox 2 Detroit.

But when she arrived, she didn’t expect to have to explain her appearance to hospital staffers.

When she arrived to the hospital, according to Fears, she figured the hospital would have to know that it was just makeup. In fact, she said in an interview “They have to know! So no, I did not say anything because I just assumed they could see that it was fake.”

Plus, when you’re suffering a panic attack, communication isn’t usually one of your strongest skills. It can be difficult to communicate even the most basic of subjects or even remember where you are or how you got there.

The hospital said that it could not comment on Fears’ case specifically, but did release a statement.

“The emergency room is not a place for fun and games,” a spokesperson told the news outlet. “They see many patients with severe medical issues where lives are at stake. Doctors need to be able to focus on those patients with true emergencies.”

Fears was sent home the same day. In a follow-up post on Facebook, Fears emphasized that while the reaction was humorous, anxiety is not.

“Let me please say anxiety is no joke or laughing matter,” she wrote on Tuesday. “It was a serious situation that happened at a strange time.”

According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, it is estimated that nearly 40 million people in the U.S. experience an anxiety disorder in any given year. Additionally, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates 1 in 13 people globally suffers from anxiety.

Though not everyone is buying her story.

Though few people questioned the very real condition of panic attacks, many found it hard to believe that she was able to take so many photos while supposedly suffering from one. Most of the photos she shared were obviously taken while in the hospital so many are accusing her, and the makeup company, of nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Moral of the story: if you end up in the hospital with gory makeup, let them know it’s just makeup!
