VIDEO: Latina Mom Makes Family Dog Pick Up Its Own Poop And It Is Peak Latina Mom

Latina moms aren’t about animal life. They’ve told you a million times, why would they want an animal in the house who will undoubtedly destroy the yard, poop all over the place, and ultimately end up having to clean up after them? Because as much as you declare that you will clean up after the pet, you never actually get around to doing it. It makes no sense for an animal to take up space, be a burden on the household, and cost extra money that you don’t have. Yes, we know, no pets in the house. We also know that moms have a sweet spot for the vulnerable. So let’s just say you bring a dog or cat home, there’s no way in hell your mom will throw it out on the street (we hope not anyway). They will, however, demand, the house remains clean at all times no matter what. Case in point.

This little doggy named Maxie accidentally left his poop on the couch and mama was not too pleased.

Her daughter Raquel caught the whole thing on her cell and her mom is going off on their dog Maxie. “Para que no lo vuela hacer,” she said as she’s making the dog pick up paper towels with both paws and carefully pick up the poop without ever once getting it on her own hands. So brilliant, and yet how did she manage to do that? We’re so impressed.

You can hear Raquel laughing the entire time, and the mom proclaims that Maxie the dog can’t even bear to look at his own poop.

Poor Maxie looks ashamed as he’s being dragged to the bathroom. Yes, she took the dog to the bathroom so he could flush it down the toilet. “Cochino” she tells Maxie. “And don’t do that again!”

This wasn’t the first time Maxie got in trouble for making a mess. A while ago he got reprimanded for tearing up tissue and leaving it all over the place.

“I’ve had enough with you,” she tells Maxie, and once again makes him grab his own mess, with her help of course. Maxie again looks guilty as charged and won’t look at the trash but understands what he did wrong.

People on social media could relate to poor Maxie because their moms forced their dog to clean up their mess too! We had no idea this was a thing.

Now that we’ve seen at least two dogs forced to pick up after themselves, it doesn’t look too hard.

This dog had it rough though.

“You don’t do that!” mom tells the dog. We think he learned his lesson, however, that whole house looks sort of messy, so who’s really to blame?

By the way, cats can pick up stuff too.

So to all the moms that pretend to hate pets, we know the truth. You’re a softy!

That goes for dads too!

For any kid (or adult) still living at home, if your parent says they don’t want a pet in the house, just bring it on by. They’ll be part of the family in no time.

We do have some sad news to report. The video that Raquel posted of her dog Maxie was kind of old, and she informed her followers that Maxie died late last this year.

The video is an old video fo the little pup. While Maxie is no longer with us physically, he has made a mark on everyone who has seen the video and we have to thank him for that.

People on social media weren’t too thrilled to hear this kind of sad update.

We were surprised about this stunning news as well.

Looks like people got attached to Maxie pretty quickly.

Poor little guy. Do you think the trauma of having to pick up his own poop is what made pass away?? That would be horrible and probably not something you could prove anyway. Plus, we doubt Raquel’s mom would want to know that he suffered from PTSD from mortification of having to pick up his own poop.

We’re pretty sad about this too.

Oh, Maxie!!

We’ll always have these sweet memories of you having to face the humiliation of having to pick up your own poop and throw it in the toilet.

Never forget.

The Washington Post Called Out Trump’s Lost Summer So The White House Released A ‘Summer Of Winning’ Video

After The Washington Post published a story on “Trump’s lost summer,” The White House responded with a nearly two-minute retaliation video titled “The Summer of Winning,” complete with an animated, red “Fake News” stamp on The Washington Post logo. The video is a montage of scenes from the summer which are meant to serve as examples of “wins” for the Trump administration. Included in those “wins” is Trump simply showing up to the mass shooting that targeted Latinos in El Paso, threatening tariff wars with México and China as a means of diplomacy, and becoming the first President to visit the dictatorship of North Korea.

Here’s a breakdown of what Trump considers to be a “win” in his book.

The video begins with The White House attempting to discredit free press.

Jeff Bezos owns The Washington Post. Jeff Bezos also owns online retail giant Amazon. Every news outlet is owned by someone. Trump has been calling The Washington Post, “The Amazon Washington Post” since at least July 2017. It is a blatant and alarming attempt to discredit the free press.

The White House goes on to blast The Washington Post as “Fake News.”

Trump has been retaliating against criticism from large media outlets since he launched his campaign, coining the term “#FakeNews.” The term has become so lost in our colloquial language, that we’ve forgotten its original intended use: to systematically attack news outlets that Americans rely on, turn his base against them, and become the sole harborer of truth in their eyes. #FakeNews has certainly become rampant, and the responsibility does not belong to The Washington Post.

Another win? Offloading American responsibilities for asylum seekers to a “Third Country.”

The Trump administration has done nothing to slow down the rampant spread of disease in migrant detention centers, where a child is 9x more likely to die of the flu than anywhere else in the United States. Instead, Trump focuses on the “win” of successfully offloading the American dream to a “third country” in the “Third Country Agreement.” Now, Mexico is agreeing to house asylum seekers, often in some of the most dangerous cities in the entire country, which arguably defers all sense of asylum for those fleeing the dangers of home.

Win: Trump visited El Paso.

Even in an alternate reality where Trump successfully comforted families and encouraged hospital staff in the aftermath of the country’s deadliest attack against Latinos, showing up is not a win. In fact, Trump showed up to the hospital where 22 people were pronounced dead and boasted about his crowd size last time he was in El Paso. Then, he smiled and gave a thumbs up while posing with a baby whose parents both died during the shooting. A win might look like condemning racism against Latinos and walking back on using words like “infiltrate” and “invasion” when referring to asylum seekers. A win might look like re-enacting the ban on assault-style weapons or following through with empty promises to work on gun reform legislation.

Win: Trump met with foreign leaders.

K. Again, that “win” is a simple showing up to the job. It doesn’t change anything. We didn’t learn of any diplomatic progress that was made while visiting North Korea. All Trump did was back down on his threats to start a tariff war with China. Another “win” was his attendance at the G7 meeting last month in France, during which he skipped a meeting on climate change, and reportedly faced criticism from other world leaders for re-inviting Russia to the G7.

Trump countered claims of racism against ‘The Squad’ by claiming they were racist.

“No, they brought racist attacks against our Nation,” Trump tweeted, referencing Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley, also known as ‘The Squad’. “All I do is call them out for the horrible things they have said,” he continued. “The Democrats have become the Party of the Squad!”

As Trump was airing his frustrations with the progressive women of color, the crowd started chanting “Send Them Back.” Trump allowed the chanting to go on for seven seconds before he stopped them. The only woman who was not born in the U.S. was Rep. Ilhan Omar, who is a U.S. citizen. Critics felt this debunked the Trump base’s claim that they welcome legal immigration, but rather do not welcome brown people into this country and its politics.

So, where exactly are those wins?

Some People Tied Fireworks In This Puppies Mouth And A Mexican Vet Performed Life Saving Surgery Giving Him A Second Chance

Warning: The images contained in this story are graphic.

Braveheart was just three months old, living in Sonora, Mexico, when a cruel individual decided to tie fireworks inside his mouth. Then, the person lit the fireworks and watched as Braveheart’s nose and jaw were blown to pieces. Unfortunately, animal abusers are abundant and veterinarians are already familiar with the types of injuries Braveheart sustained, which allowed them to make the educated guess that Braveheart’s injuries are consistent with an explosion inside his mouth.

“My first instinct was to have the poor dog put down,” Tracy Lystra, founder of The Saving Huey Foundation, told the Daily Mail. Instead, she found Dr. Briseno, a veterinarian in Mexico, who was up to the task of reconstructing a whole new jaw for Braveheart.

A good samaritan found Braveheart and rushed him to a vet, hoping that he could be saved. Of course, the kind of resources required to build a prosthetic jaw, and care for a vulnerable animal are extraordinarily expensive. The vets called non-profit group, The Saving Huey Foundation (TSHF), in California and secured funds and long-term care for the puppy. That’s when they named him Braveheart.

We don’t know how long Braveheart lived like this before the Good Samaritan found him and brought him to Dr. Briseno.

Dr. Briseno had to perform four separate surgeries on little Braveheart, the first simply to remove the necrotic tissue from the nose and nasal cavity and sew it all back together. Tracy Lystra, the founder of The Saving Huey Foundation (TSHF), told the Daily Mail that the vets, “sent me a picture of him and my first instinct was to have the poor dog put down. I had never done any rescue in that area so was unsure of the vets out there but a friend told me about Dr.Briseno, who thought he could help.”

Braveheart stayed at Dr. Briseno’s practice in Mexico for two months until he was well enough to travel to California.

Braveheart’s second surgery reduced the size of his upper jaw to match his new lower jaw, which will allow him to eat. His third surgery was to close the hole in the upper portion of his jaw, which ended his tube-feeding regiment. TSHF was founded by Tracy Lystra in 2014 after meeting Huey, a pit bull used as a bait dog in a dogfighting ring. Huey was spiritually and physically battered but made a full recovery. TSHF is committed to giving animals who have been severely abused or neglected a second chance at a happy life. Today, Lystra’s California home serves as a sanctuary to the animals that have recovered under TSHF’s care.

Lystra admits that she will, on occasion, have “awful thoughts” about what she’d do to the people that tortured Braveheart.

“I would be lying if I said that late at night, I didn’t have awful thoughts as to what I would do to the people who commit such crimes,” she told The Daily Mail. “I am able to take a lot of what I see and hide it from my emotions, but there are times it definitely catches up with me.” Lystra has received criticism for rescuing Braveheart, one person telling her that she’s just as “bad” as the people who tied fireworks to Braveheart for keeping him alive. To those people, she tells them to look at his recovery journey, and the long life he has ahead of him. “While Saving Huey Foundation does not condone suffering, we do want to offer second chances to the lives that can sustain such an offering,” she said in a statement to The Daily Mail.

Today, Braveheart is living it up at a sanctuary in California, where he’s receiving the proper medical attention he needs.

“He’s crazy hyper tonight!!!,” TSHF posted to Instagram. “Brave Heart is doing amazing and is clearly feeling good this evening! He is so full of energy and love. He’s happiest when he’s lathering us with kisses. We are still waiting for him to finish one more dose of de-wormer before we schedule his next (and hopefully last) surgery!”

The next thing on Braveheart’s list: learn not to jump when he gets excited.

Same, Braveheart. Same. Congratulations, little buddy. We’re all hoping you find the perfect forever home.
