Here Are 9 Of The Most Ridiculous Recuerdos I Found From My Tía’s Giant Collection
You know what makes family events like quinceañeras, baby showers, and weddings so memorable? For tías, it’s not the pictures or the videos, but the recuerdos. And as it turns out, my tía has been collecting recuerdos for years.
Every family party we have always has one thing: recuerdos. Here are just a few recuerdos my tía has been hoarding at her house.
This quinceañera must have been *lit*. L O L.
Just in case my tía is ever going out to the club and needs a purse to keep all of her belongings in, she has this recuerdo:
I’ve never seen such a fashionable recuerdo in my life.
And before to going to the club, my tía can pregame with this recuerdo:
Can’t go wrong with one of those classic portraits that you take at the mall.
After finding this gem, I realized that my aunt doesn’t throw away *any* recuerdo…no matter how much mold it has on it.
Btw, baby Matthew is 22 years old now.
And because the moldy foot-shaped cookie isn’t enough, here’s another pata recuerdo:
But why is the pata bigger than the baby? Please tell me.
Here’s another recuerdo that’s also probably not edible since the candy is from a baby shower in 1995.
I can’t name a baby shower that didn’t have these.
But if there’s a recuerdo that’s older than the baby bottle with hard rock candy, it’s this vintage scroll:
Complete with a list of 300 padrinos.
On the more romantic side, here’s a wedding recuerdo with a mini arch, mini bride and groom, and mini ruffles.
Can’t forget about the RUFFLES!
And it gets even cuter with this recuerdo, which is a mini column and a mini candle all in one!
Just in case there’s ever a power outage, here’s your solution.
By now you’re probably wondering, how many recuerdos my tía has in total, right?
YES. 28 total!! And I might have even missed a few.
