Alex Rodriguez Dropped Some Personal Advice On The University Of Miami Graduates

A-Rod had a lot of knowledge to drop on these college graduates.

Graduating from college can be the most exciting and terrifying time of your life. On one hand, you get to set off one your own and see the “real world.” On the other hand, you are probably dealing with some crippling student loan debt and have no idea what you are doing (or where you are going). Don’t worry about it. We all have to figure this stuff out sooner or later. The sooner you realize that life is full of ups, downs, failures, and successes, the sooner you will start to live life to the fullest. The graduating class of the University of Miami got a special lesson to prepare them for the future thanks the baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

“Truth is that you have something that I don’t,” Rodriguez told the graduates. “You have the experience of going to college as a young adult and a degree from a premier institution.”

After praising the graduates on making it through the university and securing their education, he let them know the one source of education that should never be overlooked: mom. The baseball legend admitted that when he felt like quitting, his mother always pushed him to keep going. Rodriguez was adamant about telling the graduates to keep going no matter what. He spoke about his own shortcomings as an athlete and the importance of learning to pick yourself up and keep going.

Congratulations to all the new college graduates. Now get out there and crush it.

President Trump Worshipped With Latino Evangelicals While Shoring Up Support For 2020 Reelection

While there are some mixed opinions about what it means to be an evangelical Christian, at the core, this label represents someone who’s beliefs are guided by scripture. They abide and believe everything the Bible says both the good and the bad. One of the most significant beliefs of an evangelical Christian is that they’re anti-abortion. It is that crucial reason why many evangelical Christians voted for President Donald Trump and continue to support him today. Yet, even that community is crumbling around Trump due to his moral conduct. Yet still, there’s still a hardcore Christian community that is Team Trump, and many of them are Latino.

Thousands came out to hear Trump speak at the King Jesus International Ministry in Miami last week, where he not only addressed matters of the church but also of his attack against Iranian military leader Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani.

“America was not built by religion-hating socialists,” Trump said, according to the Washington Post. “America was built by churchgoing, God-worshiping, freedom-loving patriots.”

He went on to say, “Evangelicals . . . have never had a greater champion, not even close in the White House, than you have right now. Just look at the record, because we’ve done things that nobody thought was possible.”

If you’re wondering why some Latinos support Trump despite having an anti-Latino and anti-immigrant agenda, it’s pretty simple. They don’t actually see it that way.

Guillermo Maldonado, president of the King Jesus International Ministry, said in an interview with Miami Herald that Trump isn’t out to harm Latinos.

“I ask you: Do you think I would do something where I would endanger my people?” Maldonado said. “I’m not that dumb.”

About last week’s event, Maldonado commented on Instagram, saying, “It was a blessing to see such unity in the body of Christ. I had the honor of leading a prayer where we declared God’s kingdom and His will for the United States and President @realdonaldtrump, as the Bible states in 1 Timothy 2:1.”

That verse, if you’re wondering, states, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Latino conservatives also say that backing Trump isn’t just about being anti-abortion. They also support other policies by the president.

“We’re pro-life. We want criminal justice reform. We want educational equity. We want a healthy economy,” Rev. Gabriel Salguero, president of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition, told Religion News Service this week. “Because we’re not one-issue voters, people think if they come to us with talking points, they’re gonna get us — no.” He added: “They need to have a holistic agenda that addresses the variety of issues that are important to us, both as evangelicals and Hispanics.”

Trump’s visit with Latino Christians comes at an interesting time. Before Christmas, the editorial board of Christianity Today said Trump should be removed from office.

The announcement by the prominent Christian publication came soon after Trump’s impeachment. Their anti-Trump stance left many, saying “it was about time” while also motivating the Trump campaign to focus on black and Latino Christians for their 2020 vote

“The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents,” Mark Galli, the editor in chief of Christianity Today, wrote in the editorial. “That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”

Yet still, it’s hard to speculate if Trump will cause a major shift within the Christian community and among minorities, especially because many are leaving the church.

Pew Research shows that the Christian church doesn’t have as many followers as it used to. “Currently, 43 percent of U.S. adults identify with Protestantism, down from 51 percent in 2009. And one-in-five adults (20 percent) are Catholic, down from 23 percent in 2009.”

Having said that, he still has a firm grasp on the Latino vote. A new poll released by Telemundo shows that “25 percent of Latinos say they would vote to reelect Trump.” In 2016, it was 26 percent, which means Trump’s actions or words since his election has not changed their minds.

A 22-Year-Old Woman Was Arrested For Sexual Relationship With 15-Year-Old And Forcing Him To Sell Drugs

Miami-Dade Correction

Twenty-two-year-old Irabelis Carrazana was arrested in Miami for having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy. The woman is also being accused of encouraging the boy to partake in the gangster lifestyle she was involved with. This included selling drugs and other gang activity. Stories like these highlight the dangers of young, impressionable kids who meet the wrong adults willing to corrupt them before they fully realize their own potential and dreams. Carrazana more than introduced the child to the gangster lifestyle, there are messages proving that she pressured and forced him to sell drugs for the gang she was a member of.

This week, 22-year-old Irabelis Carrazana was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old.

The crime went down in Miami. While it’s not clear how Carrazana met the teenage boy, officials say that she was involved with him for more than a year. This wasn’t just a sexual relationship. It was a lot more perverse and appalling than that. Miami-Dade police say that Carrazana was using the 15-year-old for numerous lewd acts other criminal actions.

The woman not only used the boy for sex, but she forced him to commit crimes, including selling drugs and had him involved with gang activity.

According to officials, she used the teen to be her errand boy, so if anyone got caught basically, he would be the one that was committing the crimes. However, Carrazana wasn’t very smart about hiding her crimes. She put it all out in the open.

Police found text messages in which she directed the teenage boy to pick the drug and sell them. He would then give the money to Carrazana.  Officials also found numerous videos on Carrazana’s phone that show the two engaging in sexual acts. The teen admitted to having sex with Carrazana since he was 14.

The only reason these two ended their relationship was after the teen boy said he didn’t want to sell drugs for her anymore.

Police say that Carrazana got mad at the boy for not delivering money from a drug deal. That is when he told her he wanted out. It’s pretty remarkable that the boy wasn’t killed because, according to the cops, he was at his house when someone drove by and began firing.

CBS News reports that Carrazana was charged with “possession of a sexual performance by a child, child neglect charges and contributing to a delinquency of a child.”

The poor kid was like an Uber driver for this woman and also her sex slave. It’s all very disgusting. Carrazana’s arraignment is scheduled for next month, and it’s also unclear if she is remorseful for her actions.

Carrazana is the latest woman this year to be caught this year having a sexual relationship with an underage boy.

According to the Center For Disease Control, a 2011 report showed that both men and women were forced to have sexual relationships. The Independent reports, “Similarly, the 2010 survey showed comparable results estimating that nearly 4.5 million men in the US had, at some stage in their lives, been forced to penetrate another person – and that in 79.2 percent of cases, the perpetrator forcing the sexual act was a woman.”

The National Center for Victims of Crime reports that they estimate that women are the abusers in about 14 percent of cases reported among boys and 6 percent of cases reported among girls.

It’s also extremely difficult for boys to speak out if they’re being abused whether their assailant is a man or a woman. If the predator is a woman who is forcing a man to have sex with them, they rarely disclose it because of the shame surrounding the politics of sex.

A study titled “Male Rape: The Silent Victim and the Gender of the Listener” Dr. Patrizia Riccardi notes, “A common theme emerging in treating male rape victims is a lost sense of manliness. Male victims voice their concern in reconciling their masculine identity with their experience of being raped. One patient reported that he never disclosed it to his wife of 30 years; the sense of stigma from the rape was felt as huge and devastating.”
