“Look, somebody tried to use ‘covfefe’ as the nuclear code… You know they had to dumb down the nuclear code for Donald Trump.”

Desus & Mero, the comedy duo who have their own late night show on Viceland, were recently on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” talking about Trump’s incompetence. They went off on how Trump is like that guy you hope will get fired from his job at your office, but then ends up being promoted to payroll manager. Mero told the story of how he started doing comedy, imitating his drunk Dominican uncles as a kid. They also discussed the relaxed nature of their show, on which they can curse up to five times. Meyers gave them one freebie, but they soon forgot about that. Forgetting that they were on national TV, where they can’t curse as much as they do on their show, Mero started to let the F-Bombs slip. But Seth Meyers being the nice guy he is, gave them 5 freebies to curse, so they were just fine.

Earlier in the day, on their own show, Desus & Mero reviewed a video from Super Deluxe, where ex-president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, had some choice words for Trump.

As always, the two took something that was already funny and hyped it all the way up. Using gun shot sound FX and the classic hip hop air-horn sound, they made you feel like you’re in the basement with your homies. It wasn’t hard to hype this video up though, because Fox came for the jugular with his comments in this video. He not only mentioned that Trump should go back and talk his younger self out of having daddy issues, but he made some incendiary comments about his wife, Melania Trump.

Check the clip out, because it’s hilarious.

Vicente Fox Wants To Remind Everyone That Mexico Propped The U.S. Up During World War II

Vicente Fox Wants To Remind Everyone That Mexico Propped The U.S. Up During World War II

He still refuses to pay for that “f%^&ing wall.”

Former Mexican president Vicente Fox recently joined Jordan Klepper on his new show “The Opposition” and, of course, it started with the wall. Fox reiterated once again that he is “not paying for the fucking wall.” Like usual, the line received a lot of fanfare as Klepper’s fans cheered for Fox. Klepper quickly asked Fox if President Trump was right when he mentioned that some Mexicans are good people. Fox took the opportunity to give Klepper a little history lesson about how Mexicans kept the U.S. afloat during World War II.

“Please, let me tell you about Mexico and Mexicans. They are the most respectful and hardworking, decent people that have contributed to the greatness of this nation,” Fox says. “Just remember right after World War II when the United States didn’t have enough labor because they had to go to war and soldiers went to Europe. Mexico was invited to send 2 million Mexicans that took over the factories, the work, the services that were needed here in the United States.”

Fox is referencing the Bracero Program, which was implemented via executive order in 1942. The order allowed for millions of Mexicans to come to the U.S. and work the jobs left behind by U.S. soldiers in the war. Mexican nationals came to the U.S. and worked jobs at pay rates below what most Americans were being paid and their contracts were only for 3/4 of the time.

Despite Mexicans propping up the U.S. economy during World War II, President Eisenhower implemented Operation Wetback. Operation Wetback was used to detain and deport all the people in the U.S. under the Bracero Program. President Trump touted this as a good example of mass deportation in 2015 during a debate, but the reality of this is much more grim.

According to the LA Times, close to 300,000 Mexican nationals were apprehended by immigration officials and sent back. However, some estimates range as high as 1.3 million. The mass deportation of Mexican nationals during Operation Wetback led to numerous deaths as a result of the inhumane tactics used. Immigration officials were detaining people with such fervor that some U.S. citizens were also detained and deported.

It is that dark and sad history that has convinced Fox to stay vocal against President Trump. Fox admits that some of his language is not okay for a president to use. But he reminds Klepper that he is a former president so he can use that language.

“So I said to her ‘Okay, first of all, you have to show me your underwear.'”

Television star Sofía Vergara was on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” this week to promote her show “Modern Family,” which returned for its ninth season Wednesday night. Oh, and also her new line of underwear. Called EBY, an acronym for “Empowered By You,” the subscription-based underwear service sends monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly packages of undies to customers via mail. Ten percent of the proceeds from their sales go towards helping women in Colombia start their own businesses. Her business partner, Renata Black, a fellow Colombiana, approached her with the idea when they first met. Vergara’s reaction was “you have to show me your underwear” and the rest was history.

EBY will not only be an underwear brand, but a partner to small business owners across Colombia.

They’ll take proceeds from the underwear sales and help fund women who own small businesses as well as women who want to start a business in Colombia. They have plans to bring their model to the U.S. after all the natural disasters that have recently taken place.

She then showed Colbert a sample of what they look like — by pulling out her own.

The underwear seemingly appearing from nowhere really took Colbert by surprise. She said to him, “Hold it it’s clean!” Colbert replied, “That’s a neat trick… I’ve seen bras being taken off before, but that is…” he trailed off, a little dumbfounded.

The company website says that from kidnapping to cancer, Vergara has been through the ringer and her resilience is what Colombian women and the company are made of.

Vergara then used her undies to show Colbert how to be a classy gentleman.

I can see the “Shark Tank” sales pitch now: “They’re panties and pocket squares.” Then someone else in the sales pitch shouts, “You’re a genius! One billion dollars!”

The underwear are made for women of all shapes and sizes to enjoy.

From extra small to 4XL, Vergara says they tried to think of all women.

Vergara also spoke about working on a hurricane relief telethon, where she had Julia Roberts on one side and Oprah on the other.
