Wrestling Icon Follows His Uncle Into The Family Business As An Actor Trainer

Netflix / El Rey Network / YouTube

With ‘GLOW’ set to debut on Netflix next month, Chavo Guerrero Jr., was on set to train the cast for their roles in the upcoming wrestling comedy series.

Chavo was hired as a wrestling coordinator to help the show’s lead, Alison Brie, as well as the rest of the cast learn “basic ring knowledge,” says Pro Wrestling Sheet. The six-time WCW/WWE Cruiserweight Champion is actually featured in a couple episodes of ‘Glow,’ and is credited on IMDB as “Sal Guerrero.”

Chavo Guerrero Jr., continues the legacy of his family’s involvement with the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling.

During the days when this fictional series actually took place, Chavo’s uncle Mando Guerrero (brother of the late Eddie Guerrero) trained the cast of ‘GLOW‘ during its original run. Proof once again that the wrestling will always be a family business for the Guerreros.

Check out ‘GLOW‘ when it hits Netflix on June 23:

This Dominicano New Yorker Made His Debut On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ And Audiences Were Dying

Jimmy Kimmel Live / YouTube

Vladimir Caamaño made his late night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel introduced Vladimir Caamaño to late night audiences as “a very funny young man,” but this isn’t news to many people. Not to brag, over a year ago, we put him on a list called, ‘6 Latino Comedians You Seriously Need To See Live.’ Since then, this Dominican standup has been featured in a bunch of our videos, including our own ‘What’s Good In Your Hood‘ series and on AXS.TV’s ‘Gotham Comedy Live‘ and ‘Adam Devine’s House Party‘ on Comedy Central. Now, he’s next-level killing it on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

In his Kimmel set, Vlad jokes about his experiences growing up with his Latino parents in a way we can all definitely relate to. He pokes fun at his father who wears shirts that he has no business wearing, “My father is from the Dominican Republic and he’s got shirts ‘kiss me, I’m Irish.'” And he goes in on his mother who’s obsessed with Tropicana orange juice because “she can’t comprehend how they got all those oranges into one box. Blows her mind.”
